Premium Used Auto PartsReviews of premiumusedautoparts.com

They lied repeatedly to make the sale. Did not send the engine they promised. Their warranty is useless. If you test the engine before you install it, warranty void. If you don’t rebuild the top end, warranty void. Believe all the reviews about their lies, they do.

WARNING: FRAUDULENT BAIT-AND-SWITCH. Do not buy from Premium Used Auto Parts. They charged my credit card $1,750 for a 2019 Hyundai engine they claimed had only 47,000 miles. They then tried to pressure me into signing a predatory contract with a 25% restocking fee. They accidentally forwarded a receipt showing they don't even own the part—they were brokering it from a real salvage yard (Higgins Auto Parts) for $1,090. I called Higgins Auto Parts directly to check on the engine, and the actual owners informed me the engine actually has 97,000 MILES!They deliberately lied about the mileage to inflate the price, hoping I would sign their bogus contract before I found out. I refused to sign and filed a credit card dispute. Absolute scammers!

Please be careful wit those people. on Dec 3rd, 2025 I purchased an ABS from them for the amount of $984 dollars and they promised me that the ABS was in good condition. After a few days, I did not hear back from them I call to get a tacking number and they told me that the part was defective. Then, they said that they have a complete one and I had to pay an extra $450. The other part was also defective. I requested to get my money back and they did refund my money minus $50 dollars because of the credit card process which is a scam. I am still battling with my credit card vendor to get my money back. Please DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE.

Engine was not as sold. Rusted to $hit and was only supposed to come with 64k miles. They lied to begin with lied about sending a replacement and caused me to lose a customers trust. Never AGAIN!

Lies about everything lies about shipping lies about mileage and lies about pressure compression numbers. When asked for a refund they said they will have to take 25% to refund which is also a lie.

I see yall deleted my review but here it goes again!! I purchased a transmission back in February almost 1800$. Got it installed paid 980$ had to get it towed to Nissan an hour away. They did there diagnosis and found out it was bad. Informed y’all and you said you needed proper diagnosis. Sent everything over that Nissan n the mechanic had and y’all said it wasn’t good enough. This has been goin on for weeks back n forth! Mind you every conversation we have had, I’ve been recording 😏 and yall keep telling me different things. I told you I wasn’t deleting my review until I got my money back. Now right is right n wrong is wrong. Every bad review on here, these people can’t be lieing. I’m almost out of 3000$ and still have no car. And it’s gonna be a process for me to go through in order to get my car from Nissan bc they are trying to charge 600$ to get it. Now tell me how would you feel if someone is doin this to you! You sent a bad transmission and that’s just what it is and all I want is my money back and I promise I will never shop with this company again

I placed an order for a differential on April 11th for my truck. I was told it had only 53000 mile on it. I was also told by the phone rep it was in North Carolina. but it shipped from Minnesota. When I received it the axle assembly was so rusted that my mechanic did not used the axle assembly. he just used the differential. I tried to reach out to the company but they have not responded. I would not recommend this company.

Extremely Disappointing Experience — Buyer Beware I wish I could say something positive about this company beyond the initial purchase process, which was the only part that went smoothly, but i can't. I ordered a rear end on 11/24/2025 because my original one was failing. It took three weeks to arrive, which pushed my installation past the holidays Once installed, the part was found to be bad. The company now wants me to ship it back so they can “inspect” it before deciding whether I qualify for a refund minus the restocking fee (a lot). Meanwhile, my truck still needs a functioning rear end just to move around the shop, and I’m expected to pay labor costs again ($945 each time) plus shipping and restocking fees. After my experience and reading about others I have decided that’s not a reasonable gamble. Customer service has been extremely unhelpful. They repeatedly apologized but offered no real solutions. When I questioned why their website used to show a 4.6 Trustpilot rating but now shows 2.9, they had no answer. Of 37 reviews, 41% Five Star and 46% one Star. Less than a 50/50 Chance of being satisfied. Terrible odds. BTW, they no longer boast of their Trust Pilot review on their website. When pressed, they gave me a physical address that turned out to belong to an entirely different company (Pull‑A‑Part), who said they’d never heard of them. This whole experience has destroyed my confidence in this company. I’m now looking elsewhere for a reliable replacement part and will not be purchasing from them again. So, I'm likely out of about 2 grand (they did credit me 150.00 for the delay weeks ago) but I'm just lucky I didn't purchase an engine or a transmission. Check BBB and Yelp too.
