These people are refusing to honor…
These people are refusing to honor their warranty. They are dishonest. I don’t know why this thief keeps taking about labor fees. I have only asked for him to refund the price I paid for the transmission. And let’s talk about returning the part: first, the thief asked for the diagnostic report, which I sent. Second he asked for photos of the oil pan, which I sent. He then asked for photos of the oil pan four more times. Interesting. Then he asked that I pay my mechanic to disassemble the defective transmission and take photos of the pump. I have already spent $4000 on this little misadventure; the evidence I sent the thief is incontrovertible. I told the thief that if he wants the tranny disassembled he has my permission, but I am not paying for this. Now the thief wants to have the tranny taken back to California. Hahahah. So he can claim that there is nothing wrong with it? Nah, that dog don’t hunt. We will let the small claims court decide.
Response from Premium Used Auto PartsDec 4, 2023
On the 17th of October 2023, Mr. Matthew Henderson contacted us and ordered a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek Transmission AT (CVT) with the VIN JF2GPADC8HH280320. After verifying the specifications, we shipped the part to Almanza's Auto at 12230 Alameda Ave, Clint, TX 79836. The delivery, handled by R & L Carriers with tracking number Pro # I063527319, took place on the 26th of October. Upon installation, the customer reported that the part was not in good condition. We requested a diagnostic report and pictures to address the issue. Despite receiving pictures, we specifically needed images of the Oil Pump, which the customer did not provide. Attempting to obtain them through the customer's mechanic proved challenging, as the mechanic insisted on payment for removing the transmission. We clarified that we do not cover labor charges but faced continued insistence from both the mechanic and Mr. Henderson. To facilitate the return of the part, we asked the customer to prepare it for shipping and assured a provided shipping label. However, the situation escalated as the customer filed a complaint with BBB, demanding reimbursement for all incurred labor charges. Despite these challenges, we express our willingness to refund the customer the transmission cost once we receive the part back. we have attached a Zohosign document where all the terms are mentioned, which clearly mentions no Labor charges are covered & the customer has reviewed and signed.
