Premium MortgageReviews of premiummortgage.com

In today's world of people not getting back to you, our recent mortgage transaction was an exception. Patti Shedd is a responsive and knowledgeable mortgage banker. She made the transaction almost painless.

Lisa is very knowledgable of the products and will always recommend her.

I cannot say enough about the level of service we were provided by Jolene. She came recommended to us by our Realtor and what an amazing recommendation! Being a first time home buyer I had a TON of questions throughout the process and Jolene answered every single one quickly and genuinely so I never felt dumb for asking what may have been obvious questions. Other peers of mine tried persuading me to shop banks for my own mortgage but I went with my gut feeling and went with Premium. I got an awesome rate and some of the best customer service I have ever received. Thank you Jolene!!

The two girls that guided me through this loan were wonderful and had Lots of patience. the loan took 6 months that was very stressful. The unknown underwriter I felt wanted my blood type next. Too much paper work going back and forth, signatures not clear or lost. Glad its over, my paperwork is about 5 inches tall.

Very difficult group to work with. Problem is not with the ridiculous and cumbersome government/banking rules but with the inability to explain them properly to customers. A stressful experience could have been reduced if we had been given all of the information pertaining to the regulations at our very first meeting, rather than telling us rules and requirements as we went along. This staff needs some additional communication training, or perhaps a flow chart for customers covering exactly what will be required. While we are greatful for the mortgage rate Premium was able to secure, we cannot recommend using them.

I was pleased with Premium's service from the very first interaction. Everyone I worked with was pleasant, professional, and experienced. They eased many of my worries about the home-buying process and made everything easy and efficient. I would recommend Premium to anyone buying their first or fifteenth home. Wonderful service!

All companies tout their "value add". In a market over-crowded with lenders, Premium does stand out with its services to the borrower and the real estate community. No other company provides free, professional photographs; free continuing education classes; and the amount of marketing material that Premium does. Clients are happy with their pre-sale consultation and their follow up. Every company should be as well run and as easy to work with.

I felt like my realtor pressured me to use Premium although I had my existing mortgage through ESL and was happy with their services. I was assured that Premium would be able to make the process easier due to the fact that they have a team they work with regularly. I tried my best to be proactive and ask specific questions so that I would not be hit with any unpleasant surprises. Despite my efforts and many inquiries about the amount of money I would need at closing, the evening before closing I was advised that I would need to come up with an additional $2400+ the next day. It was not a matter of paying the extra money since I fully understood that since closing was delayed (through no fault of my own) that school taxes would now be due at closing. The problem is that no one took it upon themselves to make me aware of this significant change. When I brought up my concern, the representative at Premium was defensive and rude. Throughout a very stressful process, a positive customer service experience is something that can be controlled and is expected. I was very dissatisfied and will definitely never use them again or recommend them to anyone going through the home-buying process.
