Despite being supremely overqualified for the mortgage we were seeking, we were made to jump through hoops and provide tons of paperwork, much of which was requested several times because they could not keep track of what they were given. It was far more taxing than procuring my other mortgage for a property in CA, which was a larger loan that I was less qualified for at the time. They were also insensitive to the fact that, although it was really my wife's mortgage, downpayment, and house, my name appeared first and foremost on all documents because I am male.

From the time I met with the mortgage broker until the hand-off of my loan to a mortgage servicing company, I felt that I was in good hands. The staff I worked with always told me what was happening, for example when I started to work with the mortgage processor I knew my loan was going to someone else and I received the name and contact information. I had also shopped around on grates and found that Premium's were the best I found. I wish more organizations followed the customer service practices of Premium Mortgage.

First time home buyer with no idea how the mortgage system works Nancy Frate was extremely patient with me and walked me through the process, what the different fees and titles meant and what the process of getting a mortgage approved involves and how long it takes. Her processor, Tracy, was equally wonderful and any questions I had were promptly answered. Great Great experience working with Karen Haberer. I walked into her office knowing nothing about the home buying process and having no idea if I could even qualify for a mortgage. She was amazing, explained everything, walked me through what I had to do to ensure a good rate, and had me squared away and ready to close so fast.
