The service was great. Awesome techinician but the price was tooooooo expensive. I should have shopped around with other providers because on replacing the spring, shaft, and 3 bearing it came out $965. I looked at parts alone afterwards and it would have been under $200 so the the price was ridiculous and outrageous

I had an extremely disappointing and frankly infuriating experience with Precision Garage Door of Southeast Michigan (also known as FB DOOR LLC). I contacted them for what should have been a routine spring replacement on my garage door. Their technician, Daniel Duvall, arrived and clearly noticed that I had two newer vehicles in the garage and that I was in a hurry to leave for an important meeting. I firmly believe this influenced what I now know was an outrageously inflated price. I was told the repair would take an hour and was quoted $1,260. Desperate to get my cars out, I agreed—only to watch the technician finish the job in about 20 minutes. I later did my homework and found that this type of repair typically costs less than half of what I was charged. This felt like a textbook case of taking advantage of someone under pressure. There's no justification for this level of overcharging, and it's extremely disappointing to see a company operate this way. The resident agent listed for this business is Stephen T. Freitas, and if this is the standard for how they conduct business, I strongly urge others to stay far away. There are plenty of honest garage door services out there who won't exploit your situation or insult your intelligence with predatory pricing. I will never use Precision Garage Door again, and I do not recommend them under any circumstances.

Our garage door spring broke on the right side. We stated that on phone before the visit. When technician arrived we were told we needed both springs replaced and the drums. After a “ military discount” and the technician saying he would “ waive labor charge” the cost was $860. He was here for one hour I looked at some similar parts online. Costs of parts would be 1/4 of that. They are very very $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Stay way clear!!!!!!

They told me in the chat box one spring would be about $145, when the techs arrived they gave me three quotes, the lowest $880 for two cables and two springs. I know I agreed to the price buy but if I did not I would have to pay a $69 service charge. I found out later I could have another company do it for $495. They have rave reviews on their webpage but there is no place to post my review? Seniors be careful.

Joel and Eli came today to install new door and opener. They were very curious. They did a wonderfull job and fast !!!! They cleaned up old door no mess!!! Patrick was my sales person and had all the answers. Doing business with Precision Door was easy and very freindly. If your in need of service or a whole new door please call them.

Ben was here today to reset our keypad. He is always kind and considerate to start with and we are always happy to see him. He was on time. He let us know he was headed our way. He explained how to reset the keypad as well as resetting it with us. We had a good laugh about the YouTube version that just didn’t quite help. We are confident in Precision Door services when Ben is at the helm and representing the company. We are very happy customers. Thank you all again.

Disappointing! Called and set up an appointment and asked scheduler maximum charge to replace one garage door spring. She answered with a range going up to a maximum of $360, no other charges. Tech showed up and quote at least double that within five minutes. Normal 16-foot residential door, nothing special about it. How could they get it so wrong? AND, Look at their website for reviews they get 5 Stars, "On their website" what nonsense! On this site and other third party reviews they get a 3 star at best. No just bad service...

Had Precision Garage door come out and give me a price for a broken spring. I wanted both replaced even though only one was broke. It was like taking my car to get the tires rotated and they tell you everything you need that you did not take it in for. The tech inspected the door and gave me 3 different scenerios from $800 - $1200. I said I just wanted the springs fixed and it was $762. I declined the service and called Cornwell Door Service in Lebanon. Cornwell replaced the springs, cables and a few rollers and it was only $505. That was a $257 savings and that included the rollers and cables. The Cornwell Technician that worked there 40 years, said some of the things Precision told me I needed replaced was not necessary.
