I wish I had known a few things before working with Precision Garage Doors.
I wish I had known a few things before working with Precision Garage Doors. Ridiculously Overpriced They quoted me $870 for what turned out to be a simple garage door repair. After checking with several other local companies, I went with one that charged just $150—and they got it done in under an hour. That’s almost six times less than Precision’s quote for the same job! Misleading Ratings Their high Google ratings can be deceptive. Precision has multiple branches across Wisconsin, and their service quality varies depending on the local rep. You might get someone decent—or someone who overcharges and underdelivers. Unethical & Unprofessional When I called about my bent garage door panel, I was worried about potential damage to the tracks and cables. But instead of sending a technician, they sent a salesperson who barely gave any advice and left me thinking I could keep using the door. Big mistake. The damage got worse, just like I originally feared. When I confronted Precision about it, they refused to take responsibility—then had the audacity to quote me that outrageous $870 repair cost. Better Alternatives Exist Avoid Precision Garage Doors. There are plenty of local, trustworthy businesses that won’t overcharge you.
