Passed the CE, PcM & PjM Exams using PPI2Pass. Worked out for the less design oriented exams, that had less charrettes, etc. Now I sat for Programming and Analysis, and this prep material and the quizzes/practice exams were terrible, almost as if I hadn't studied at all.

The practice exam simulations proved very helpful and the flexible schedule made it easy to fit in study time as I could. I thank the Lord God I was enabled to prepare well enough to pass this time around with the help of PPI2Pass.

A good blend of experienced teachers and excellent resources.

I am unable to use the PPI phone number or website chat function because the "new" PPI system doesn't recognize my order number, order date, or product purchase. However, the PPI phone system DOES recognize my phone number. Also, in my interactions with the PPI Customer Service team (emails), no one ever signs the emails or provides contact info.

I liked my instructor. Gregg Wagener was very informative and helpful. I did not like the audio and visual quality of the lectures -- the microphone quality was poor and the visual drawing effects on-screen during the lecture were not effective. I liked the forum where I could ask questions, but I found the rest of the site confusing and hard to navigate. The course was advertised as having the "Learning Hub Quiz Generator" but my course did not have that and I wish PPI was more honest about that upfront. There should be more practice materials provided by PPI for the Electrical: Electronics, Controls, and Communications course.

PPI made it right, but initially was alarmed when the entire platform changed over to Atom. Atom is not well set up for users who need to focus on specific areas of ARE 5.0 preparation. The previous original Moodle is great; colleagues at my office all agree.

I am not happy with my course content as i was emailed about class schedule but not notified of course content needing to be gone through prior to classes starting. Now i am behind and fighting to get those readings done with classes continuing.

1) Terrible "classroom" for the live class. The fact that they use a proprietary video service is embarrassing given how many free options there are (zoom for example). This incredibly inhibits the students ability to interact with the instructor. Not being able to talk to the instructor, and instead typing out questions, thoughts, comments, etc. is debilitating to the 2-way flow of communication. 2) The solutions provided to most practice problems do a woefully inadequate job of explaining how/why to solve a problem. Solutions steps are seemingly performed out of a logical order. Lots of necessary math often times just gets skipped or isn't shown at all. 3) The instructor’s ability to explain solutions and difficult concepts in new and/or easy to understand ways was lacking. Often times was just reading directly from the power point and working through pre solved solutions. 4) PPI was not very transparent as far as how long students would have access to the OnDemand portion of the class. At the time of signing up, I was under the impression that I would have access to the OnDemand course throughout the end of the year.
