CourseCareers is an online modern learning platform where students go through an affordable online course to start their new careers. Students start by going through a free introduction course to learn about which career to pursue, then enroll in their desired, paid course. Students complete the course in a few weeks to a few months, depending on how much time they commit. They learn everything required to land their first position. CourseCareers also teaches them exactly how to land an entry-level position or internship by giving them insider knowledge of how to apply to companies, what to look for in resumes/applications, how to prepare for interviews, and so much more.CourseCareers even partners directly with companies that want to hire their graduates into entry-level positions and internships, dropping their degree/experience requirements for CourseCareers graduates.

Took almost a full 2 months for any feedback. entire sections are misplaced causing basic terminology to be put in the back of the lesson (with a comment from the instructor saying 'i should move this to the front of the lessons') like who woulda thought basic logic applies consistantly? save your money. btw im able to say two months because they just got back to me today, from july. like why even bother i shouldve been finished with the course already if it wasnt so screwed up. btw you dont need my phone number to know im a real person, asking for irrelivant information to try to dismiss somebodies review is enitrely inappropriate.

Hi Caleb,
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this. You're right, two months is way too long to wait for a response, and we're really sorry about that. That's not the experience we want anyone to have.
You also made a great point about the lesson order. It didn't make sense to have the basic terminology at the end, so we've moved it to the front of the lessons where it belongs. Feedback like yours is how the course gets better.
We'd really love to have you back. The updated lessons are live now, so if you want to jump back in, you can pick up where you left off. If you have questions along the way, or if anything else feels off, just email us at [email protected]. A real person on our team will get back to you, and we'll do everything we can to help you finish the course.
All the best,
The CourseCareers Team

Course careers support is great!
Course careers is a fantastic company! Something I do want to highlight is their customer service. I contacted the support team and a representative named Christy B reported back to me the same day. That is unheard of usually I need to wait the next day or I need to wait even longer.

The construction management course was…
The construction management course was very well put together. I learned a lot and feel confident in my ability to have a career in construction. I learned a lot more than I thought I would.

Accounting course
I took the accounting course, and when we went through QuickBooks, almost nothing that he talked about worked for me. The program changes so often that videos like this don't really apply anymore even a few months later. Also every time I had to upload data (which was a lot) I could never do it the way he showed because the program had already changed. I don't think this course is any better than just figuring it out yourself.

Hi, thank you for your honest review. Unfortunately, within the first month of releasing the course, QuickBooks made a user interface update.
We're in the process of updating the course to reflect the new interface changes.
Overall, the QuickBooks section is less than 15% of the course content, which is fully updated to 2026 standards. We encourage you to continue making progress through the course and utilizing our built-in AI assistant to help navigate the user interface changes in the meantime.

Would never recommend-I purchased this course because the testimonials and introduction video seemed to be nice.
Update: After reading CourseCareers’ response, I have decided to lower my rating to 1 star. Their reply completely missed the point of my review. I never said AI shouldn’t be used. I work in IT support already, so I understand very well that AI is an important tool in this profession. My criticism was that the instructor relied on AI instead of teaching. A significant portion of the course consisted of telling students to “ask ChatGPT” or “use AI” rather than explaining concepts in depth. I paid for instruction from an experienced trainer, not to be repeatedly directed to tools I already use every day.
Their response also mentions their 14-day refund policy. I didn’t request a refund because I genuinely believed the course would improve as it progressed. Like many working professionals, I could not realistically complete and evaluate the entire course within 14 days while working full-time.
What disappointed me most was that they did not acknowledge or address any of the concerns I raised about the production quality, the lack of editing, the repeated mistakes in the videos, or the reliance on additional paid services. Instead, they responded by saying that thousands of students have found jobs through the course. That statistic does not address my experience. I already work in IT support and enrolled because I wanted structured, academic-style instruction to deepen my knowledge. I wasn’t looking for job placement assistance. My concern is for students who have no prior IT background and may expect comprehensive teaching but instead receive a course that frequently tells them to ask AI for the answers. In my opinion, the course did not deliver the level of instruction that its marketing led me to expect.
Original review: I purchased this course because the testimonials and introduction videos gave me the impression that I would receive high-quality, well-structured training that would help me build real IT knowledge. Unfortunately, my experience was very different.
The topics covered are relevant, and I have no issue with the curriculum itself. My disappointment is with how the material was delivered.
Most of the training videos felt like unedited screen recordings. The instructor frequently made mistakes, corrected them while recording, and continued without re-recording or editing the lesson. It gave the impression that very little effort went into producing a professional course, especially considering the price.
Another major issue was how often the instructor relied on AI. A large portion of the course consisted of instructions like "search this in ChatGPT," "ask AI," or "memorize this for the exam." I estimate that this happened throughout much of the training. I enrolled because I wanted to learn from an instructor with experience, not because I needed someone to tell me to ask ChatGPT. I already know how to use AI, and if that was going to be the primary teaching method, I could have learned much of the same material on my own.
When covering resume creation, students were directed to another subscription-based platform where many of the useful templates and suggestions required another payment. After already paying for the course, I found this frustrating, and also most of the linkedIn training was based on guessing who to email or sending emails to the hiring managers which I find useless.
Finally, after completing the course, the trainer encouraged students to submit testimonial videos for a chance to win $200. Seeing that immediately after finishing made me question how many of the positive testimonials I had relied on when making my purchase were influenced by that incentive. While I cannot know why individual people left positive reviews, it did leave me feeling misled.
I completed the course and passed the exam, but by the end I had largely lost my enthusiasm because the overall production quality and teaching approach did not meet my expectations. Personally, I would not purchase this course if I were to go back or recommend it at its current price.
The second star is only because I liked the titles, and now I get to go search for those titles on free YouTube videos.

Hi,
Thanks for leaving an honest and detailed review of the IT course.
We strive to best align our curriculum with what employers are looking for in the job market to best position our students for entry-level jobs. This includes teaching students how to best leverage AI to find answers and solve problems just as employers would expect in a real IT support job.
As far as the curriculum delivery, we try to make the course flow as naturally as possible to keep it engaging, just like a normal conversation would flow.
So far, we've had thousands of students go through our IT course and land jobs with great praise for the content and its delivery. In the rare case someone isn't satisfied with the course content or delivery, we encourage them to get a full 100% refund within 14 days of purchasing the course.

Information Technology course
I went into this to test and see if spending the $450 (every yt video has $50 link) was worth it for someone with some IT experience (learning on my own). It was not imo, I do see it would be good for anyone brand new to tech and not sure what direction to go. IF you want to do this go right ahead, they do have one on one coaching you can pay for, there is some help with a potential unpaid internship and you do learn to create your own VM and some hands on labs, also the people in the discord are super helpful and kind, but for anyone that is going to want to try a different perspective, I would suggest getting coursera plus and a year of labex, for the coaching, just use chatgpt. Coursera plus is also cause i like to learn a bunch of things, labex is to learn linux and get hands on experience as they have a vm built in to use it, you can add them to your portfolio or to just get comfortable with linux altogether.
I am not giving this a bad score because its not that the course was bad, its that it wasnt for me

Course Careers has been eye-opening and…
Course Careers has been eye-opening and refreshing for me. I completed the Medical Device Sales Representative course. My favourite takeaway was the theory since I have a lot of on-the-job practical skills in healthcare and sales, and this just explains and helps me grasp what the market requires. All modules were clear and easy to follow, although there was a lot to unpack. My main problem is that I live in the Caribbean, and I'm not sure how practical it is for me to find work as a medical device sales representative.

Dated Course & Poor Customer Service
I enrolled in CourseCareers expecting up-to-date, practical training for breaking into tech sales. Unfortunately, the course felt dated and generic, especially given how quickly the tech sales market has changed over the past 1–2 years.
A lot of the material covered high-level concepts that are widely available for free online, and the examples and tactics didn’t reflect what I’m seeing in today’s hiring environment for SDR/BDR roles.
What was most disappointing was the refund experience. I requested a refund within the first month and had completed only a small portion of the course. Despite this, my refund request was denied with no flexibility or partial refund offered.
For a program marketed to career switchers and beginners, I expected more customer empathy and more current, market-relevant content. Based on my experience, I would recommend doing extensive research and exploring alternative (or free) resources before committing.

Hi,
We've recently had two technology sales hiring managers audit the course within the past six months and have made updates based on the latest technology and best practices.
Would you be able to share exactly what material you felt was too high-level or outdated, as this is the first time we've received this feedback from the thousands of students who have graduated from the course and gone on to land tech sales jobs.
We try to align our courses as closely as possible to what employers are looking for in entry-level candidates, allowing our students to land jobs in the least amount of time without learning unnecessary information.
We also offer coaching from industry professionals, allowing students to get unlimited guidance from people actually working in the field. This additional support and guidance has led to many people landing jobs they otherwise wouldn't have been able to through only self-directed learning.
We offer a generous no-questions-asked 14-day refund period, allowing students to go through as much of the course as they like to see if it's for them. If it's not, then they can get a full refund.
We appreciate all feedback on the course. Please email us at [email protected] to share your feedback on which videos you felt could be improved so we can look into it. Thanks!
