Asa was very knowledgeable about the products and was of great help in helping us decided on which pool heat pump to purchase for our 667 unit condo. We needed to replace an aging heat pump which was no longer being made.I would recommend Pool Heat Pump to anyone looking to heat their pool.

I was very happy with Poolheatpumps…
I was very happy with Poolheatpumps advice and service. I was told by my local pool service companies that a heat pump would not work in my area - Marin California - and that I should go with another Gas heater (this would have been my third as they last 3 years). However, having read the specs for the new heat-pumps this advice did not make sense to mne, as the average ambient temperature is high enough in all months and I have excess solar energy which greatly reduces the running costs. Asa Strong at Poolheatpumps confirmed my thinking and then gave me very good objective advice on which heat-pump to select. I ordered from him and he stayed with me during the delivery period and answered questions after delivery. The only reason I have not given 5-stars is that there was an issue with the last mile delivery and AquaCal was slow in responding to technical questions that Asa could not answer (to do with water pressure switch). I now have a very efficiently heated pool with zero emissions. I could not be happier! I have no clue why pool companies do not embrace this technology, it works!
