Beware of this company PlushCare, they will find ways to take your money! They run using the old bait and switch scam. The so-called doctors are all quack doctors since they all are scamming patients! It's pathetic. There are many virtual online doctors. Please don't get caught up in this trap! Dangerous!
Response to Plushcare... please don't make it sound as if your company is the victim or "oh so concerned" because we both know what happen during last emails. This company needs lots of work!

Very Questionable Insurance Billing
I saw them a few weeks ago for a rash I was experiencing. It was the weekend and I didn't want to wait several days to get into my PCP. The Dr at one point said something like "I don't usually handle rashes". The website sure makes it seem like y'all handle this type of stuff so that made me uneasy. He did seem to find the proper diagnosis however and sent in prescriptions for me, and they worked. No complaints there.
Today I wake up with an email from my insurance about a new EOB being ready. I log in and look, and plushcare billed my insurance for a 2nd office visit. I've not spoken to anyone from plushcare since my ONE visit, which was already billed and paid for.
Reached out to them and they said it's for an annual health assessment that they perform to help the dr make customized recommendations to help me stay healthy and provide me with the best care. What's funny about this is I never authorized it, and they never provided me with these so called recommendations -- so I guess they decided i'm perfectly healthy and had no recommendations for anything I could be doing better? Their response was "are you concerned about owing for this? There's no charge to you for this!" -- BUT they did charge my insurance company. I didn't authorize this. I'll never use them again, and I will be reporting them to my insurance company for fraudulent billing practices.

Hi Donald, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I just wanted to clarify any confusion around the Annual Health Assessment. This questionairre is completed just after you would book and appointment and is optional. It is billed to your insurance as a telehealth assessment so you are not responsible for the costs as it is a preventative visit, which is mandated for coverage by the ACA. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out directly to me at [email protected]

Useless
Useless - just gives you a referral to see someone in person - what's the point

SCAM, Crooked, Awful Company
SCAM, CORRUPT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE.. If I could give zero stars I would. They kicked me off of their platform for literally no reason. There was nothing in the agreement that I signed that said that I couldn't take the medicine that they prescribed me with the medicine that my psychiatrist prescribed me for my ADHD. Also the two medicines do not interact whatsoever. They kicked me off their platform with no explanation. Just sent me a message saying "I've been dismissed from their platform". It was not until I called their exceptionally rude customer service who talked over me the whole time that I had been kicked off their website for being prescribed medication for my ADHD. They first tried to say it was because I was not allowed to be on two controlled substances, which is also not even in the agreement but even more weird, the medicine I was being prescribed by them was NOT a controlled substance, only the med I was being prescribed by my psychiatrist is. And when I told them this they back tracked and said that its because I had overlapping prescriptions when I did not. They said me having a prescription of an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PRESCRIPTION for an entirely different unrelated issue was considered an overlapping prescription. Any person can look up what overlapping prescription means and that is not it. When I sent them the literal definition of overlapping prescription they just ignored every other message I sent since. They refuse to give me their HR phone number and do a really good job hiding this info from the public. They also tried to charge me for the doctor visit that they were SUPPOSED to refill my prescription on but instead they removed me from their website. They are horrible and have the worst customer service. I am actually seeking legal counseling for this situation. Save yourself the headache

They took the $119 for an appointment…
They took the $119 for an appointment and then the doctor never even called me but immediately sent me a receipt in my email.
She never called and I sat here waiting for the appointment. When I called, I was on hold for nearly 30 minutes and then the lady said that I would be refunded. I don't believe her because I got a receipt for the payment not a refund. How about not charge someone if the doctor is too lazy to even call?

I requested service once from…
I requested service once from Plushcare. I gave this company my credit information to pay for that initial service. I noticed shortly there after, they began to charge my credit card that they saved without my authorization. They apparently signed me up for some sort of monthly service that I didn't request or authorize. They also billed me for lab work, when infact I told them I had insurance. This is definitely fraudulent practices. I would not recommend this company. I had no direct problem with the doctor they provided and would use that doctor again through a different platform.

Ok so seeing a doctor you don’t know…
Ok so seeing a doctor you don’t know online or by video, you can’t set your expectations to high. I didn’t. What I did expect was for the doctor to have somewhat of a bedside manner. I guess I was asking for to much. I had a (what I found out after my experience with them), horrible skin infection. The doctor I ended up seeing after being traumatized on Plushcare said take ALL the meds I’m going to give you and in the meanwhile I’ll have the lab take a look at this. The (both doctors after two visits on Plushcare) doctor had the nerve to say to me I need a psychiatrist it was mental. I was so upset both times all I could do is cry. It happened on the height of the pandemic so I didn’t have many choices then. I had this skin infection for four months and it got so bad I almost ended up in the hospital. I’m surprised I didn’t. The 2nd time I tried Plushcare to get help with it I thought I would get a doctor more sympathetic but what I didn’t know was they worked together and talked about my case. Headcase I guess! Smh!! I guess after a good lawsuit one day due to their actions might get them to change that non existent bedside manner they have. Patients just beware and know if you don’t like what your hearing, demand another doctor on this website. ☹️
