I called to find out why I am being charged for not having insurance when I do and your company states they accept my insurance. I called customer service and they tell me that plush accepts my insurance but none of your doctors do so I am charged as if I don’t have insurance.so basically I was lied to and I feel like I am scammed. Your customer service representative was absolutely no help. The only winner here is plush you collect my money and I pay for a service that none of your doctors accept.

Their site glitched when I tried to make an appointment and it charged me TWICE ($260) but did not make the appointment. I called support, they were completely useless, told me someone would follow up with me. Now I have to dispute with my bank. Waste of time and fraudulent.

I cannot get the team to complete my pre-authorization for my insurance no matter what I do to try and contact them. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone, messages or emails. My doctor is great but the customer service team has gone downhill to almost non existent. Last year, I did not have this problem. Since January, it has been horrible. I have been trying to get a pre-auth done correctly since then and even had the doctor try a different med that may not need a pre-auth but it did. I called my insurance and got it started and faxed it to Plushcare. Still no response. Do Not Sign Up!!

Looking for a convenient telehealth option, I found Plushcare online. Initial screening said my insurance was accepted and “most people pay a $20 copay.” My non specialist copay is $40, which is what I expected to be quoted. After going through the account creation and booking appointment process, I was quoted $179, the “non insurance” rate. Confused, I emailed the “care coordinator” customer service who responded several days that the price quote I got was due to them being located in California. There was then some vague direction to send my insurance information to them to make sure I’m “properly billed”, no direction on where in the process this is supposed to occur or HOW they true up the billing. I then responded asking how specifically this process is supposed to work. I pay $179 and have an appt and then get refunded when my insurance is applied? I’ve literally never had a doctor or healthcare provider do that, it’s a terrible way to do business. After another couple of days not hearing back, I tried calling customer service and was on hold for an hour before I gave up. This whole business seems like a scam, or at the least, taking advantage of lax regulations around the business and standard of care side of telemedicine. Luckily they never got my card/financial information.

Simply bad customer support. I asked for pre authorization for a medicine 10 days ago and they still did not work on it. I already did numerous inquiries to their customer support by phone and email and all what they say is that the are still working on it.

I swear this company is one person who has signed up a handful of docs to do online appointments. There is HORRIBLE response time for prescriptions and they want unneeded info. from my insurance company. Been a month and still no prescription. Don't sign up!

The doctor I have is great, she took the time to listen to my concerns and come up with a plan, but the staff is terrible. They won’t respond to messages or answer the phone. Or when the phone is answered they all read through the notes and just repeat what is there. Nobody can get ahold of the prior authorization department. I need a prior authorization sent to my insurance company. I completed the form almost 9 days ago, but they haven’t sent it so I can’t get the medication I need. I just need this form sent and it’s supposed to be a 24 hour turnover and it has been BEYOND 24hrs. I would not recommend at all. There needs to be a way to contact the prior authorization department because they take days to respond to emails. I even sent an email with my insurance prior authorization number and they did not respond nor did they send my insurance any information.
