I was fortunate enough to meet with Dr Purima Rao on Monday. I had gone back and forth on the idea of seeking psychiatric help for some time and after recent struggles made an appointment. She was patient, kind, engaging, and informative. I genuinely feel safe in her care and moving forward with services.

They were able to work through a prescription problem. They showed that I had recently filled my gabapentin with I had about 10 days prior. However I was inpatient in the hospital and they refilled me only 14 days worth. Anyway they worked it out and refilled my perscription which I picked up today which was day 13 since they were last filled.

Despite the great hospital at the university where I work, it's still hard to see a doctor without going to the E.R.. PlushCare allowed me to see a doctor on a Saturday and get the prescription I needed. The provider patiently listened to my 'self-diagnosis', then took time to discuss a course of treatment which included a prescription.
