SCAM!!!!! charged my card without approval, sent random fees after the fact.

This service is ridiculous. I use my insurance, pay a monthly membership fee and had to pay 10.00 for whatever else. My doctor wrote a prescription and I had no clue that I needed to fill out a pre authorization form. Prescription wrote on Jan 18 2024 and my pharmacy kept showing a message that prior authorization was needed. I called plush care after no change with the pharmacy message for over a week and was advised "Oh we see you didn't fill out a prior authorization for...WTH. Never knew this was part of my duties..I should get paid for this. Then when I message the care team to ask did they receive it, 2 days later I get a message back and they advise it takes 7 to 14 business days before anything is done....when in fact I received an email that advised 1 to 3 business days. So which is it. Then I try to make an appointment on the app 2 weeks out no appointment then 3 weeks, same message but when I signed on online,, all types of appointments. This is straight mess and I don't have time for it. I get messages back from my in office doctor faster than this and I don't have to fill out pre authorization. I called caremark before the apointment and prescription was written and they advised they could approve once plushcare calls or faxes in the paperwork...but plushcare uses some round the way method and I am not sure how long it takes as I have conflicting answers. I will go back to my traditional doctor. I like my doctor with this company but their methods are horrible.

Don’t waste your time. Paid $120 to get pink eye drops…simple pink eye, have kids and passing it around all over house. She tells me my eye doesn’t look red so she can’t give it to me. Got NO prescription for a simple eye drop. Ended up going to a doc in box and HAD pink eye got an RX there. WASTE OF TIME! Terrible!

I don't understand what I am paying a membership fee for! I wish I had dug deeper and read the reviews which is why I am leaving this here. I am not one to take time to write reviews either. I love the doctor! But now I can't get in touch with the doctor. I MUST message the PlushCare team and they take DAYS/WEEKS to respond. Days to respond to my time sensitive health issues. I have a simple question about a prescription, but now I must schedule an unnecessary and expensive appointment to ask a question about my prescription. In all other medical settings I would have direct access to my doctor/healthcare provider. This service is making what should be simple, more time-consuming; and what should be free, more expensive. And I am paying them a membership fee for the privilege! Unbelievable.

I wish I had read other poor reviews prior to using this service. My appointment was early on a Sunday morning, so I understand why the doctor seemed tired and frazzled, but she disconnected rather abruptly after only ten minutes when I still had more questions. And then a week later, after already paying $112, I got a random bill for an extra $93. They are absolutely thieves.

This company is a bunch of thieves. Do not give them your business. I received an estimate with no notice that it might end up being 5x the cost of the estimate, and they billed me later. I have never not been forewarned that there be an estimate discrepancy, and they tried to blame it on insurance. Every other office I have utilized has pre checked my coverage prior to treatment. On top of that, they did not assist in facilitating an insurance claim to get coverage for the prescribed medications, so I couldn't even begin recommended treatment! Absolutely unethical practices here.
