Absolutely terrible the DR that work here could care less about you and your problems. Had an appointment today with one of the doctors and I told her I’m sick and have really bad sinus issues and I would like to get prescribed steroids for the inflammation. She said no the benefits don’t out weight the risks and told me she would prescribe me Flonase which I can literally get at Walgreens. She also did the appointment somewhere outside of a restaurant where it was nice and loud. Might as well skip the app with these doctors and buy your own medicine at the pharmacy because their recommendations come from something you can google. Thanks for nothing.

Just....no
Had one visit that I prepaid prior to seeing a Dr. Was told I had to get labs, but BCBS wouldn't pay for them, so I canceled Same day on plush care website. Tonight I get a text stating I owe them money? Will not be paying this as I canceled and have absolutely nothing to pay for.

Unethical billing practices
I had my appointment, it was easy to schedule and the Doctor was kind. I paid my co-pay. The following day I had a charge for $599 for my medication without my consent. In addition, they buy the medication from the pharmacy and then upcharge the patient for a huge profit. I was quoted $225 direct from the same pharmacy. It is incredibly unethical. The only upside to this experience is that I was able to cancel the "prescription" and get my money back.

Made an appointment because they had…
Made an appointment because they had the main med I need advertised but then it turned out they don't actually have MDs that handle the particular chronic condition. Got a full refund and the customer service is great but you'll rapidly see it for the sort of grift it is, one of many trynna work the same market without going beyond minimal competence in execution or concept.

Dr was Great! Customer Service was Terrible!
The Dr was great during my 3-4 visits. I went to set up my next appointment Because I only have a couple days left of Medication and was given an alert that my insurance is now out of network. The cost of my refill visit would be $140. This is infuriating because I have insurance and the doctors office nor my insurance alerted me that I would be out of network for these visits. I never received a phone call, an email, nothing. I requested the doctor to write prescriptions so that I had time to find another primary care in network with my insurance and I was told no.

Therapy appointments are a scam! They don't use your insurance!
I loaded my Aetna health insurance when setting up my account. I was billed $169 each for 2 therapy appointments. I was later told that therapy appointments are NOT processed against insurance! This is a highly unusual practice (I am a group benefits broker) in the medical field. Don't fall for this scam!
Reply to Plushcare: Your website is misleading and does NOT mention that therapy visits claims are not submitted to insurance. I was told previously in a message from your staff that I would receive a refund. I was subsequently told there would be no refund. I have contacted your staff many times with no success.

Worst online doctor experience I’ve ever had
So many things are not good and if I sound a bit disgruntled, it’s because I think all of us turn to online medicine for portions of our healthcare to make life easier not more exasperating and less efficient/effective.
-I went through my insurance- this was in network -and even though we have met my personal AND family deductibles, I was charged over $100 and this service claims they will review things and then adjust whatever needs to be adjusted up or down in 4 to 6 weeks. Really? That would happen every time and the first doctor had already wanted me to follow up.
-The first doctor I saw today admitted her bio has not been updated in 3-5 YEARS when I mentioned some thing that was in there but is no longer a current truth. She also blamed it on PlushCare, but shouldn’t she read her own bio regularly and request updates? A bad reflection on both.
-The second doctor I saw looked about 10 years older than her profile photo. So again it seems like it’s not been updated and when you are having online consults, it’s important to feel like everything is trustworthy and updated.
-The first doctor went in depth with things, but was very old-school for an online doctor (granted she was fairly old, so not totally unexpected I guess) but I did appreciate her professional effort even if I did not feel any sort of connection and want to pursue an ongoing relationship. However, I got a note from her later that she consulted with one of their experts, and didn’t feel that the medication course I was already on, reviewed by several other doctors and approved by my cardiologist, was appropriate. That’s not what I asked them to do but she has to follow her professional instincts, I suppose. It just confirmed she wasn’t someone I wanted to work with.
-The second doctor, whom I decided to see as a second option because the first doctor told me I was welcome to see someone else while I decided if she and I would be a good fit, got on and slightly before our appointment time, and in a loud and abrasive manner immediately told me that none of her colleagues would likely see me because of my “underlying conditions“… and yet I have never had a single doctor online in YEARS of using them say that and I have in person specialists that see me regularly including six weeks ago.
The reason I tried the service was because I wanted to find someone new when my long time online doctor from Sesame care had taken a six month sabbatical to Montana and I needed someone in that gap. I primarily just needed a medication. I had already used renewed. I’m not sure how it turned into such a complete life overhaul on their part.
I went back to Sesame care and just found another MD there who had a single appointment available this afternoon, it took 10 minutes, she reviewed what other doctors had already approved and my prescription renewal is now waiting at the pharmacy.
My point with this is just find an in person doctor if you want someone that is old-school and goes into excruciating depths and does not necessarily defer to other physicians who have already seen you.
If you want an online doctor experience find somewhere else that is not so expensive, nor so behind the times. There are a lot of them out there and many are very trustworthy.
The best thing I can say about this whole experience is that the customer service team was quick to reply, and canceling the free month (today was the first day, but I never plan to use that service again) was actually easy. I suppose we will see once the credit card statement rolls in if they followed through with the cancellation and I certainly hope I get a refund for the money I didn’t owe going through my insurance.

Waste of time
I have an ear infection after a mild cold; the doctor simply said, "you have to see a doctor in person" without asking about my symptoms or anything else, then rudely hung up. Waste of time, won't use agin.
