There inconsistency with doctors available plays a big role in your quality of life. When I was at PlushCare, I was there for probably four years and I went through two or three different PCP’s because the doctors would quit or get let go. As a patient, you’re not givien notice when your Registered PCP leaves so when you check in to make an appointment with them, they’re just gone. And then some doctors are just awful. They’ll take two minutes to talk to you. I mean the guy didn’t even look me in the face. The last guy I talk to And then look at what you’ve been on and make a bunch of changes when you go to a regular in person doctor do you have to pay a subscription fee? This is just a scam which is sad because I think there were doctors there that really cared.

Didn’t help what so ever. Told me to take over the counter medicine. Save your money!!!!!

BEWARE !!! Do not book an appointment on line with this company They automatically enroll you in their monthly program and charge you monthly. I just got off the phone with their billing department the only way to not get enrolled in their monthly program is to call to make the appointment

In early July, per Plushcares instructions, I reached out to confirm I would qualify for the medication and what other specific docs they may need for authorization. I shared the feedback with Plushcare noting the additonal details required that the insurance rep had mentioned. Plushcare went ahead and submitted a pre-authorization while completely ignoring my comments about additional docs that may be needed and to let me know…one can expect then that the preauth request would now unnecessarily be denied. Plushcare got back to me asking for the additional details I had already told them they’d need. I shared the docs with them. On July 9th I received a message indicating that they had submitted an appeal. I would then receive a few “we’ve checked in with your insurer and have no updates” email alerts over the course of 2 weeks. I decided to call the insurer, who then said they did not have an appeal on file at all. I asked Plushcare to share the confirmation of appeal submission - they could not. So basically their “check in” emails were a lie and two weeks passed before the 1st appeal was ever submitted. The first appeal was then denied bc the insurer needed 6 months of activity and I was about 1 week away from that. (Why did plushcare not catch that before sending given they knew what the insurer needed). I had over a year of proof, far more than 6 months, and so yet another denial that could have been avoided. I asked them to resubmit with the full year’s worth of documentation - My insurer basically told them any new documentation submitted would count under my first appeal and my case was closed. So, currently, over 1 month later, I am sitting here without medication I qualify for, because of Plushcare’s negligence. Absolutely terrible experience.

My appointment is in 5 minutes, and I just got a notice that it’s been canceled. Plush says it’s because their doctors don’t provide any medical services related to thyroid. Yet they advertise on Google that they do. I changed my entire day to accommodate this appointment, so I won’t be using this service again.

I saw a primary care provider and liked her, but this company is a nightmare otherwise. I paid $129 for the visit. All of a sudden I’m getting billed an additional $76 stating that’s the balance I owe after my insurance paid. They sent me a fictitious screenshot showing a made up payment from Molina and a balance owing. I sent them the Molina claim denial and EOB from my member portal. All of a sudden I don’t have a balance owing. Don’t use these clowns.

I have received very inconsistent service and it has been a nightmare. First, my insurance company United Healthcare and the PlushCare website says that I should have a zero co-pay, yet each time I schedule an appointment I am charged $129. A representative told me I am out-of-network, yet I have a screenshot from the PlushCare website that says $0 co-pay. Nevertheless, the doctor I have seen has been great for the most part. However, getting in touch with him is a nightmare. I’ve spoken to excellent representatives (a representative named Raven) and absolutely nasty/careless representatives (such as a representative named Tara), the past four to five times I’ve had to call them in one week to get my prescription filled. I never know who I am going to get and if I will be helped or not. On my most recent call, Tara advised that she does not know why Raven told me to call back within an hour and that my request is considered non-urgent…she was unreasonably rude and I’m just wondering if I need to find another company/provider. She also said that I would need to make another appointment with my doctor to get my prescription corrected. Therefore I would be paying them $129 three times within a week ($387), for a mistake that they could have easily fix and should have been resolved a week ago. To have to pay $129 per appointment and then have to deal with their representatives is a nightmare. If you can avoid having to talk to them it’s a great company. However, you can go to any online provider if that’s the case, and maybe for less.
