I have been using red light therapy for a while and came to the conclusion that Platinum LED has the best product—varied wavelengths, high quality, and powerful lights. Sure, the prices aren’t cheap, but spending time every day in front of a subpar lamp isn’t the best choice either. So, I decided to go for it and make the purchase. The shipping costs were quite high (€220 to Belgium), but that’s probably due to the size and weight of the package. Anyway, I placed my order on January 26th and later read on their shipping blog that international orders wouldn’t be shipped until February 10th. I didn’t worry too much about it at first, but then I checked Trustpilot and saw some concerning reviews. I could only hope that the shipping process would go smoothly so I wouldn’t have to deal with customer service. Fortunately, on February 11th, I received an email from Platinum LED confirming that my order had been shipped (from Hong Kong), and I received it on February 17th. Like many others, I had to pay import fees (around 10% of the purchase price), which was not mentioned at checkout. The lamp and accessories are incredibly sturdy, and using it feels amazing. I’m happy with my purchase, even though it ended up costing more than I initially expected. Now, fingers crossed that it keeps working well, because if I have to return it, the shipping costs, lost import fees, and 20% restocking fee wouldn’t justify my purchase.

The website was not very clear on what stand to use for specific lights. I have the Bio series not Bio max, I purchased at stand that costs over $300 and when I received the box and read the instructions I found out I can’t use the stand. So now I have to return it. The box is really heavy and the customer service rep said their company does not provide pick up at home service for returns. Ugghhh!

I spent 3000 euro and got refunded only 2000, 1000 euro thrown away after one year of saving money(550 shipping+ 20% restoking fee on the cost of the product) customer service doesnt care about their clients , why risking so much money? im so sorry i didnt notice all the bad comments they have on YouTube, Forums and Trustpilot, mayebie i got confused by positive comments on Reviews.io , but like on their website they can delete bad comments , from Trustpilot and Forums they cant do anithyng so the comments are real On the chek out page there is no advice that out of USA you have to pay the custom ( in my case 950 euro) so i had no money for that surprise, they pray that you dont see this information so they can take you money, on amazon ON THE TOP OF THE PRODUCT you can see written "20% restoking fee if you send back product" here they write on other pages confusing the client, its so easy to not see information this way i cant immagine how is the guarantee if after some time you have problems with the product!! just find another company , from expencive products customer service is veryvery important or you will only throw money away,

I still haven’t received my product, and the customer service hasn’t been great. At first, they responded about the shipping issues, but after a while, the replies got vague and didn’t really help. Just a heads up – if you decide to return it, there’s a $50 return shipping fee, plus you cover the shipping back and a 20% restocking fee.

I gave them one star because I had to, if it were up to me it would be no stars at all!I purchased a product from Platinum LED and it turned out to be defective. When I reached out to their customer service, I was met with unhelpful responses and a lack of accountability. Not only did they refuse to resolve the issue, but their representatives were also unfriendly and dismissive. It's clear they do not value their customers. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company. I regret my purchase and will never buy from them again.

Paid for two lights, got only one. They claimed an error but due to the way they submitted invoice I paid duty and tax for two. When I raised the issue, they refunded the second, so I got one lamp with double the DUTY and VAT. Avoid this company. They are by no means trustworthy!

I purchased 4 biomax 600s during Black Friday, thinking I was getting a great deal. To my surprise, just two weeks later, the same product was marked down by an additional $1,000. I reached out to the company, hoping they would honor the price difference, but they flat-out refused. To make matters worse, returning the item would cost me too much, leaving me stuck with an overpriced purchase. It's frustrating to see a company prioritize short-term profit over customer loyalty. This experience has left a sour taste, and I won’t be shopping with them again. If you're considering buying from them, beware of their rigid policies and lack of customer care.

Really terrible customer service. Basically they "forgot" to ship my order despite taking payment, and when I chased it up by phone and email, they were rude and unhelpful. Ultimately, someone more senior in the company read my emails, provided a polite reply, and the product was shipped. The product itself, when it arrived (very quickly after shipping), was excellent. It came to me in the UK from Hong Kong, so inevitably there was import duty (10% of the purchase price) to pay to UPS before it could be delivered. It is very well put together (Apple level of construction) and came with all the stuff to easily suspend it from a hook or door, and was easy to set up and use. How well does it work? I purchased it to help speed recovery from hip replacement surgery, but hopefully I will be using it in due course for muscle fatigue after running, which is my preferred method of exercise. I'm hoping it may also help my wife's chronic back pain. I am a doctor, and there is some science behind its claimed benefits. Ultimately whether it is superior to a hot bath, an ice bath, massage, or some deep heat, is debatable, but probably it has some additional benefits over and above other treatments, and can be used alongside them. I thought it was worth the purchase cost. These guys do need to do something about their customer service though - not least for their own benefit. If you look at the reviews here, they mainly relate to poor customer service, rather than the product itself, and hence the poor Trustpilot rating, which is very much not deserved in view of the quality of their product. In my case it would have cost them nothing to have been polite in their emails, and then I would be giving them 5 stars.
