Bought one thing from them and get spammed daily, sometimes multiple times daily. Contacted customer service about it and so far crickets...except for plenty of continued spam

We ordered a dining table which we received but when we put it together, one of the primary pieces, a connector from the base to table had poorly drilled holes (misaligned). This made putting the table into difficult and resulted in an unstable, poorly fitted, final product.

My mom ordered a bunch of furniture from Plank and Beam. She heard about them from a ChatGPT query. So, she ordered and then had a ton of regrets. Was it too good to be true? Did she click through an email? Was it a scam? Why was it hard to find info about the company of their web site? Then I looked here and saw the negative reviews. So, she wrote in to their email and cancelled the order. At first, we got a ‘maybe’ email - saying it depended on order status. Then we promptly got an email saying the order was cancelled. I told my mom to double check with her cc company. She didn’t. Then one pice of the furniture showed up. My mom tried to refuse delivery with FedEx, but they wouldn’t take it back. So, she went back to customer service at Plank and Beam, and they were wonderful. Said to keep it, donate it, whatever. Obviously it wasn’t worth the cost to ship it back, but they handled it all with class, professionalism and customer focus. Since most come to TrustPilot to share negative experiences, I wanted to give them a shout out for the positive. And, my mom confirmed the charge was reversed.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. BUYER BEWARE. I ordered a dresser for my guest room well in advance of my out of town guests arrival. The company couldn’t have made communication about the delivery date more confusing. The dresser was very difficult to put together. 5 hours into it, I realized the pieces didn’t fit because they were defective. I called customer service and asked to return for a full refund. The company refused and insisted on sending a new dresser, and made it clear that disposal of the first dresser was “on them”. The new dresser arrived at my door, and when I called to make arrangements for the first dresser to be picked up, I was told that they “don’t offer that service”. I am 66 years old and five ft tall; I have no way to dispose of this crappy furniture. Take my advice; SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! I wish I had. They’ll lie to you just to get you to go away.

Really disappointed with the item and the lack of customer service. Purchased the frame due to its advertised “easy assembly.” However after hours of trying to put together the headboard, I ended up having to hire a contractor to help build the bed frame despite having built multiple furniture items by myself. The contractor also noted how poorly designed the bed was and also had difficulty putting the bed together. I contacted customer service and they still have not helped me resolve this problem after 2 weeks. Do not recommend purchasing from this site.

in today's world of logistics, any company that cannot control or care to control its products right up to the front door delivery & just washes its hand once is product is handed off to a delivery company, is one I'd rather not ever to business with again. Recent purchase of a bed frame, delivery partner was FedEx, which missed 8 delivery windows over the course of 3 days & I changed my schedule to be available for delivery. P & B customer service? sorry, we cannot tell you where your order is & here's a Fedex website, find it yourself, any delivery issues, take it up w them. Then it has the unmitigated gall to ask me how "Brian" handled my service request. I think that question answered itself but P&B is too tone-deaf to read the room. I was making my 1st purchase w P&B, to outfit 2 teen girl bedrooms, this was my test purchase, if had gone well, other furniture pieces would be ordered, no longer. P&B emails? straight to junk mail & unsubscribe me, post-haste.

I purchased a bed, nightstand and dresser. Two of the pieces arrived damaged and the third piece full-size bed had some screws that were too short to attach the support beam to the middle of the bed. Shanell with Customer Service was incapable of understanding when I sent a picture showing the bolt being too short that it indeed was too short. After many many emails back-and-forth, they replaced the nightstand and the dresser and send me one bolt assembly for the bed it needed 2. The replacement nightstand was also damaged and they offered me a new one or a refund. I chose the refund. The replacement dresser was in good order except for an area where the stain wasn’t right. I chose to keep that dresser because I was just too damn tired of dealing with this company. They say that their products are solid wood, and that is not the case. There is particleboard and laminate incorporated into the furniture. The headboard on my bed was particleboard with thin laminate. The dresser was mostly solid wood, but the entire back was particleboard, and the bottoms of the drawers were two. The sides in the back of the drawers were not finished. I would not purchase from them again. Their furniture is manufactured in Vietnam and their headquarters is in South Carolina. I wish I could add pictures so that you could see the issues I had.

This was a great experience for me. I love the quality of real wood, the price and the customer service. I’m 83 and put the 3 door media console together by myself. The instructions were excellent and all the pieces and connectors were identified. I’m beyond pleased.
