The bunk bed was fine, nothing great. Two years later we discovered mold had been growing on the wood slats and spread to the actual painted wood bed frames. Not only that, the mattress on the lower bunk had mold growing on the bottom of it where it lay on the slats. The wood used for the slats was obviously damp and uncured when sent, cheap lumber. I emailed Plank and Beam with photos, and they said the warranty is only one year so there was nothing they could do, although they gave me a 20% off code and said I could use that on new slats. I would never buy another thing from this company. Buyers beware.

Be warned, their build-it-yourself furniture comes without predrilled screw holes. I don't have a drill & one wasn't required on the list of tools. The wood is very hard & I was told to carefully force the screws in. I've built a lot of DIY furniture & never seen this before. The company seems to think this is normal. The products were the Harbor collection.

Assume all sales are final. The website states there is a 30 day return policy, but when a piece I ordered arrived damaged, they offered me a discount and a fix it stick (which would not have worked for this problem) and then just ghosted me on all other emails. Super shady.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order over three week ago and it has not been shipped despite promise of two day delivery. Customer service does not respond nor help. A complete scam. Run while you can.

Products suck. I had to reorder chairs because I initially got the wrong color, and now one of the new chairs already has the netting coming off on one of the sides. For what these chairs cost, that’s ridiculous. Customer service is terrible. They’re nowhere to be found when you actually need them to fix a problem or give you your money back. I’ve emailed them twice this week, days apart, and still nothing. No response, no update, no refund. I returned the blonde chairs on July 27th because they didn’t match my table. They’ve had MORE than enough time to process the return, and I still have no refund and can’t even get someone to answer an email and tell me where my money is. As a business owner and former customer service manager, whoever is running this has no clue how to run a business or take care of customers. Taking someone’s money is easy—the real test is how you handle things when there’s a problem, and they completely fail at that. They even appear to have Google reviews turned off, and after dealing with them, I can only imagine why. Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture somewhere else. I definitely do NOT recommend this company.

I placed orders for benches on plank and beam, these benches had been out of stock forever. I got notified there were 5 in stock and placed the first order. Then I decided I wanted another one, the site said 3 left in stock so I ordered. After 2 weeks there was no movement on the orders which made no sense. I reached out to customer service and over the course of days learned I could only speak with their Ai agent as there was no customer service line or real reps. After another week passed trying to get the orders cancelled since the whole thing felt like a scam, I eventually had to go to affirm to get them to dispute the purchases. After a month of trying to call, email, post on social media ect someone reached out and said I had been refunded. Affirm said this was not true and no refund was ever sent. Thankfully affirm cancelled the purchases and refunded me. This is so upsetting because I do love their furniture and have purchased many items from them in the past. I highly suspect the business is going under and whoever operates this company is trying to hold onto the sales without shipping out the actual items. They also turned off their instagram comments - where several other customers were posting comments asking similar questions, like where is my order? Avoid them at all costs!

I ordered a bed with drawers underneath they sent me the wrong bed. They asked me to send them photos of it and the skew I did and now it's been over two days and I have not heard back from them. The bed was almost $500. It's not what I ordered and they've disappeared. I do not recommend this company at all really bad customer service as well as service

I ordered the king Haven canopy bed. I was excited about my purchase until the second night we sat down on the bed to go to sleep. The metal beam in the center bent! The frame is so light that getting into the bed it shifts slightly causing the leg supports in the center to shift into a crooked slant. I weigh 120 pounds so this absolutely should not take place. I contacted customer service thru email and form submission, then calling, and it took over a week for someone to get back to me. I requested two extra metal beams to improve the engineering by running extra supports down the positions where sleepers are located. I offered to pay for it. I received an email stating that the legs shouldn’t touch the ground, and I wouldn’t be able to purchase extra parts. If I had kept my boxes this bed would be back on its way to Plank and Beam. Do not waste your money or your time. Very poor customer service and products
