A lack of communication, lack of reliability. Doctor ordered a 'schedule 2" script as he normally would to pill pack. Fax went out, I even requested a copy and have it. Pill Pack says they never got it. Then they change their messaging and say its a schedule 2 and that they don't fill that. Seemed strange and with a copy of the script in hand, I can say that pill pack is not a company that can reliably receive a fax, which is still the standard process to fill drug prescriptions. How do they stay in business?!

I have been a customer of Pill Pack for about a year now. This is the first problem I have experienced, but it is a BIG one. My medication did not arrive on time, so I contacted Pill Pack. They checked and agreed that it was stuck somewhere after leaving Georgia on the 23rd of July(today is the 4th of August). They offered to send me a replacement but I had to first agree to pay 4 times the normal charge "in case" the insurance does not pay. They assured me that "most of the time" insurance covers the replacement. That would only cost me double my payment. What a deal. Basically as I see it, Pill Pack does not guarantee delivery. It is the customer's fault if something goes wrong and the customer must pay. My medication is not life-critical nor all that expensive with or without insurance. However, I can only imagine this happening to someone who really needs that medication to survive and whose cost is very high. Not a service to be trusted. Amazon is hurting itself with this kind of service.

I love the idea. Absolutely love it. Unfortunately, they aren't ready for the action in reality. I have some prescriptions that come out more expensive so as I was taking to someone getting it all set, I asked how I would know how much all these prescriptions were going to cost, he said something like, "oh, someone always calls to let you know and talk about it with you." Reassured, I went about my business until I got an email that says they are sending them out. I wanted to know how much it was going to cost and there is no information. I also noticed that a couple of my prescriptions were in the wrong packet (am instead of pm). This is big. There is no way for me to tell them without contacting them since no one ever called to confirm. I called customer service and was hung up on twice at answer. I finally got someone on chat who was very nice and helped me cancel my order. She then very pleasantly told me I should just let them know if I wanted the prescriptions sent anywhere to let them know the pharmacy and phone number. I asked them to send them where they got them and she said I needed to verify. I understand all that. It was just such a waste of time and I am disappointed. I so wanted it to work. I hate sorting pills.

I have depended on Pill Pack for some time, but of late the service has deteriorated. After multiple calls with customer service and calls from my doctor they still couldn’t get one of my medications correct. I wish there was a competing company that provides the same service.

On the surface PillPack is a good concept and they have delivered our meds on time. HOWEVER, its SCAM regarding their co-pay charges. We have Well Care RDP plus and we a spending $1,200/year for the plans and still paying over $260/mo in copay's. I started surveying other pharmacies and found we are 3 times as much for PillPack copay's than other pharmacies (CVS, Wallgreens) . CVS provides the same service for much lower copay's.

When I first started with pillpack it was working out quite well for me. Then there came a point where generic needle tips were changed for the ones that were doctor order to ones that are really crappy and didn't go on my insulin pen correctly. I also used to get insulin pens in boxes and now I'm getting them loosely and all labeled separately with sticky residue Left behind when you peel the label off. It is truly annoying. The company in general I guess is cutting back and trying to save money I'm going to see if they fix my issues but other than these I'm satisfied with him so far.

I have used PillPack for a few years. Mostly it has been satisfactory. There have been a few glitches, but it was worth dealing with them because the service makes dealing with meds so convenient. Today, 1/3/20, I noticed that I only had one more day's meds. I called PillPack. I was told that they would not ship my meds in time for me to receive them before I ran out because of a backlog due to the holidays. Notably, if the cause was having a backlog, then they knew well in advance that they would ship late, but did not inform me. To be fair, when I called, they offered to transfer the prescriptions to a local pharmacy, but I declined. They are derelict, first, for failing to manage their business properly and letting themselves get behind, and second, for not informing me as soon as they knew there would be a problem. My impression was that they either don't care or are incompetent. I am filing a complaint with my state's Board of Pharmacy.

I loved how convenient the service is until it wasn’t. I needed a prescription refill rushed and their idea of “rush” is a 10 day wait. Are these guys owned by Amazon or not? The other incident was when I told them the doctor discontinued a medication that caused an allergic reaction. I wrote them an email and they acknowledged that they would no longer ship it. A week later it’s on it way to me in a shipment. So I showed them the email and they said “oops” and recalled the shipment. One more week later I get an urgent call from PillPack asking me to give them my correct shipping address (which hasn’t changed) because they were notified that a shipment was undeliverable. Clearly they are not keeping records of emails in a client’s file so they can see changes requested and acknowledged. They need to get their act together.
