Great instructors for many contemporary styles and classic baseline skills applicable to any genre. Fun aesthetic considerations as well…Like how do these people have a guitar to match every outfit? Also, they double as interior designers. Just kidding. 😁

Pickup Music is a great community of musicians where you can get all the skills needed to improve as a musician(mainly for guitar players).

I am so glad that I joined Pickup Music in its infancy - the community is incredible! The people, the classes, the lessons, the music, the interactions - whoever is casually playing guitar at home, and is looking to take the playing to the next level (including recording, jamming, theory), this is definitely the place to be. And a really liked that I was able to keep my original subscription from when I joined - really shows how they value their community and don't play tricks with increasing prices and whatnot. Thanks Pickup for keeping it straight! :)

You really can't get any better than Pickup Music! You will never get this many resources to learn anywhere else for the price you pay. So many different ways to learn as well from incredible musicians. An absolute steal!

I've been a member of Pickup Music for 2-3 years now, and I've loved seeing the community grow. It really does feel like a community, not a "vids for sale" type thing. I like that it's intimate -- if I post a comment, I'll get a reply from staff, etc. Huge variety of legit artists that contribute (mostly funky/neosoul/fusion/jazzy folks, but there's been some prog and such). And I LOVE the new bootcamps, they're very thorough and step by step, the structure is something I need a lot.

This is the most comprehensive guitar lesson platform I've ever used. The site is easy to navigate, and members get access to everything (instead of purchasing a single lesson package). The best value for players of any skill level, genre or interest.

I’m into my second year as a Pickup music member. I mainly use it for master classes, and this is why I love it: I consider myself an intermediate guitar player with passion to music theory, and someone who doesn’t have a lot of time anymore to practice having a full-time job. Knowing that subscription cost is really low, I don’t feel I am losing value when at some periods I am super busy and can’t really get on the website. At the same time I know that it’s still there whenever I can steal a moment to go learn something new, even for like 30min. Regarding the content, there is lots of information for everybody. No matter what genre you like to play, I can confidently say you are guaranteed to find a couple of very good classes that you will like, and that will justify alone the subscription fee. The fact there are classes offered by different professionals is a huge plus for me. Teaching is an art, and if you are not connecting with the delivery of one person, you can definitely check someone else’s offering. I personally think Dr. Molly is a jewel for guitar teaching. I also like Sam’s courses, but couldn’t really connect with the Jazz masterclass method. Finally, I encourage you to sign up if you want flexibility in learning, great quality content and one platform for most topics. Plus, the videos and tabs and all that extra stuff are very good quality which adds to the experience.

It's a stellar service. The bootcamps are one of the things that helped me grow the most as a guitarist this year. Also SongSquads can be really useful for internalizing concepts, progressions and techniques. The only tiny tiny remark I can think of, sometimes there's some slight discrepancies between what the artist plays and what's transcribed on the tab, but it's just a pet peeve of mine, it's never like a wrong note, more like the correct note on a different string, stuff like that. And it's always in the oldest lesson on the site, quality has greatly improved over time. Really glad I singed up so early, as I couldn't afford the price it has now, and for the price I'm paying has an early subscriber, it's a treasure. Really thank you.
