Within 5 minutes of logging in got hit with two and a half minutes of commercials. After being very excited to see all of the content available, tried watching some additional items, more commercials. AND, worse yet, the commercials were so repetitive, the same block of commercials over and over. I was hoping at least for a range of commercials, but no luck. If PHILO wants to improve, dump the length of commercials. Isn't that why you charge a certain amount? Based on the amount of revenue from advertisers? Offer a premium version for more per month without commercials and watch how many subscriptions you rack up! And the cancellation policy says at anytime, but try and navigate the cancellation process, it is a dead end loop that never gets you there. I hope not by design, but it sure felt like it. If you have a "no holds barred" cancellation policy, then follow through and don't be tricky. Sincerely, LUKE in Minnesota

This is one of the worst subscriptions I ever got save ur money not really kid friendly I canceled immediately and try to get a refund the said they don’t do refunds as soon I cancel but I have screenshots that said otherwise and they don’t make it understood when they said you won’t be charged they actually charge you I will never use philo again

Save your time save your money. You may have to dispute charges if you sign up with them. No common sense customer service. They exist to rip people off. Read the reviews!

I'm decided this is the last time I will give Philo 25.00 and they have tons and tons of commercials, this service is too expensive to have several commercials, straight rip off !!!

I wouldn't recommend Philo unless your hobby is to watch ads every 4 minutes. In a show of less than 40 minutes you have like 7 commercial breaks of 3 to 4 minutes each, almost half of the show, not kidding. So if your an ad worshipper, Philo is exactly what you need. If you're not, I promise you, you're gonna cancel your free trial before the end as you will become disgusted with the amount of ads they forced on you. Philo helped me remember why I hate television so much. Few people will pay $25 to watch ads. They say you can skip ads when the video is labeled DVR. Well, I challenge you to find just one. it's like finding a needle in a haystack. There's none. For all the channels I browsed through during those seven days, I found Zero DVR labeled video, zero. They say they don't add ads, that these are from the original show, but that's not true. I watched the same shows on tv with about 2 commercial breaks during a 40 minute show. On Philo, there are between 5 to 7 commercials, go figure. Clearly, they must earn money from all these ads, there's no other reasonable explanation

$25 to watch Yellowstone along with 3 minutes of ads every few minutes is NOT motivating me to continue past the free trial.

Signed up to watch Yellowstone Season 5 on 11/13/2022 and 15 minutes into the show it errored and never worked again. I shut the entire system down, no luck. Tried to get on the Philo website and got a gateway error. I think they collected money from more customers than they had the technology to serve. Restaurants put out signs, so do hotels, Philo just keeps signing up subscribers.

Five minutes of show followed by ten minutes of commercials. If you're a liberal, perhaps the commercials will keep you entertained because they're certainly geared toward you. The interface is clunky on Roku. I can think of better ways to spend $25 a month and I feel like someone should pay me for all the time I spent watching the worthless commercials.
