LOVE Philo. I was forced to cut the cable cord as Prism was no longer an option for my community. PHILO has all of the channels I watched anyway and I purchased a digital antenna for my local channels. Couldn’t be more pleased with the ease of using the application, saving programs that I love and accessing programs that I want to watch. I just love it!

Excellent.
Excellent.
This is by far the best "Cut the Cord" TV Provider. They have 50+ or so live channels which is amazing and it doesn't sound like a lot at the start but it is a majority of what most people watch for quite a lot cheaper than any other place. Yeah you lose out on news and sports, But you still get some good channels.

The pros are great service and quality…
The pros are great service and quality of HD streaming. The cons of Philo is that they run the same commercials on every single break. The ones that are cool soon ware thin and the ones you hate make you want to cancel service and try another service provider.

Philo SUCKS!!!!
I clicked on the Philo main page a few minutes ago and it said $20 a month. Once I tried to sign up it suddenly changed to $25 a month. I called customer service and they wouldn't help me at all. What lousy customer service. Today is the 8th and it never said what time you had to sign up by.

For the money a great service without locals or sports.
Pretty decent assortment of services-if you do not need locals or sports for $20 a month it is a great deal. Unlimited DVR for 90 days and the taped event is then erased on day 91. It works well and take a look at the channel offerings or better yet give it the one week free trial. For $20 a month it is pretty hard to beat.

Decent streaming company that has Basic…
Decent streaming company that has Basic cable channels like lifetime and hallmark plus a few other channels. $20 a month for basic cable I can afford. Don’t raise the price Again though or it will not be true anymore. (Originally $15.) Please freeze the price or better yet lower it and keep all the channels and you’ll have a lifetime customer! ☺️

Great Service, Misleading Advertising on Trial Page
Great service. The only thing I didn't like was their slightly misleading advertising on their "7-day no-obligation trial period" trial, which supposedly you don't have to put your card in for. At least, that's the way they make it look and sound.
I tried it, ended up liking it, but was asked to put my card in after about 3-5 days.
If you are going to pull that on your customers, why don't you just have them either:
A. Have them enter their card details at the beginning of the trial
B. Don't have them do the stuff in A, but actually display the correct information as it shows without hidden or very obscure fineprint (which I didn't see when I signed up for the trial).
Of course, there is probably some fine print somewhere, but I'd rather not get into that.
If you are like me, and you are like "TL;DR", here's the gist:
This is a great service, with a good amount of options considering the price point. However, the "free" trial is only for 3-5 days (by my recollection). After that time, you will have to enter your payment information in. Thankfully, you don't have to pay until your 7 days are up, but this is still not long enough to test out the service to see if it is worth it.
In the end, I like it. But for some people (namely sports fans, or people who are looking for specific channels), I'd do some research before jumping in.
