I love Pet Zone for there variety of rare fish and have been to both retail stores which I enjoyed. My last two orders I experienced a fish loss of 20% after a week or so. I’ve noticed that when the fish arrived the water was a little cloudy and the bags had lost most of the air. I always follow strict acclimation guidelines and water chemistry. But this doesn’t happen on all my orders and I will still order from Pet Zone because I love the variety of fish they provide!

Great stock, and staff is helpful when you do call in for online ordering. My only issue was the amount of time it has taken to get my fish, even as I write this I haven’t received my fish. It’s been at least 2 week. A lot of that has to do with me not reading the shipping directions, of it must be rush shipping or overnight, but even after I made the adjustments and paid the invoice they sent fee for shipping I still have not gotten my fish. For this being my first purchase online for fish, it really makes me want to stick with in store purchases.. overall 3/5 great stock, good people, wish they could resolve shipping issues a little bit quicker.

The reason for the 3 stars is because before the fish got shipped I asked for information about the species of fish, they got back to me saying they’ll find out and get back with the information, which never happened and just shipped the fish out. Also the fish is decently bigger than the picture advertised just a heads up if you’re looking for a smaller one. After all I love the fish , and might also order more in the future. they shipped alive and look healthy.

only because i ordered a pom pom crab and it turns out it was actually out of stock, and you guys messed up an order that i though would be amazing because when i added stuff to the cart, it said it was free. so i did a cool order just to get refunded :/ :D but its all good because you sell half banded spiny eels

Ordered online. I had to call them and check on my order to find out they didn't have two of my ordered fish. Came to an agreement to sub for other fish. After paying for mandatory overnight shipping one fish was DOA and another was highly stressed and died the next day. They also did not ship the number of fish I had agreed upon. It took 2 emails, a text, and 3 phone calls to finally get a refund. They were willing to send replacement fish but I had to pay $30 again for shipping of fish that arrived dead or dying.

It took a month to receive my fish. A very frustrating process. After trying to be patient, I called. They said they only had part of my order. They also said they tried to contact me. My phone and email are both correct. No phone call at all. No email, checked trash and spam as well. (Incidentally, two minutes after I got off the phone, I got an email saying they’ve been trying to reach me.) I opted to wait. And wait. Every time I called they were waiting for a part of my order. Except every time they got one part in they were conveniently were missing the other part that they said they had two days before. This happened multiple times until I said forget it and just send what they had. The good part was the fish were packaged well and were very healthy and delivery was next day after I authorized a partial shipment. The only reason for 3 stars. But the run around I was put through was extremely frustrating. I will not be doing business again for this reason.

Communication was mixed. The fish I received were great, the shrimp I received were not the ones I had ordered and one was dead. I sent an email and am still waiting to hear.

The shipment of my dwarf puffers came very fast via fedex, the next morning. 2 of the 3 puffers were alive, 1 was unfortunately dead in the bag. I did lose one of tge survivors the next day in my quarentine tank so we are down to the last survivor. They like to be with a few of their own species so i will have to order a few more sometime soon but im not ready to spend another 60 dollars for them quite yet.
