Very disappointed. I spent over a $100 getting 4 rainbow fish... they showed up all looking sick and super thin. One died that night, another the next day and two hung in there for another day. We quarantined them and medicated them but they had Ich and slowly all died with days of getting them. Sadly I didn’t read the reviews until after I made the purchase. 😞 I have a video if I could figure out how to post it.

The shipment arrived 1 day late which is, understandably, not Pet Zone's fault. However, the fish were shipped without any kind of decent insulation and no ice pack which I would have believed to be the absolute bare minimum that could be done knowing they were to be shipped to a place that gets in the 100s. 2/6 fish arrived dead, 1 of them was already dying, and 1 died within a few hours. So I paid $30 for 2 fish and another $40 for shipping. They gave me $5 in store credit. What a scam considering that a single ice pack would have saved those fish. I feel horrible that they had to die such an awful death -- literally cooked alive. My fault for ordering in the summer I suppose, but I've done it before with other companies and delicate fish who know how to package their animals with care. Will never buy from this store again.

I ordered 5 snails but got one only. I ordered 4 shrimps and I got one alive and 3 dead. 4 frogs dead. Never will buy again from them.

My betta arrived dead

I was sent the wrong fish on mistake. I replied to both email and text customer service with photos of the fish and identification info and received no response in the 6 weeks since.

Customer support leaves a lot to be desired for. Quality of fish questionable too. In my first order got some fish on arrival (which I got store credit, not money back). Almost all of the other fish who were alive died during quarantine. Since I didn't want to risk ordering more fish, with the store credit I ordered plants, which were supposed to arrive in 3 days. I got an email stating my order was shipped with a bogus tracking number which took me to a non-existing web page, I got another email saying my plants were not shipped because Pet Zone did not have one of the plants. I emailed asking for clarification but I never got an answer for that. After a week I email again asking for my order since the plants didn't arrive and I didn't get a response to my previous email. I tried calling buy do response to that either, so I texted. I got a text response saying "Let me take a look at that" and never hear a response. Finally two weeks later I get the plants, dead. It seems like the package got lost during travel, and although that is not necessary an issue cause by Pet Zone, their lack of help definitely prevented finding out what happened to the package sooner. I decided not to go after money back this time. It seems dealing with Pet Zone is just a waste of time. Maybe what happened to me was one in a million bad luck and no other customer will go through what I experienced. Maybe I am the one-customer-too-many and Pet Zone could not afford the time to help me out, or maybe because I was buying the plants with store credit it was enough for them to help me out. Whatever the case I considered very unprofessional.

I ordered several items in April and still have yet to receive half of my order. I have emailed, called, texted multiple times and get no updates. The two times I received a response, they said they'd get back to me and never did. This is so unacceptable! I urge anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere.
