I did not recieve a fish. They stated that a fish could not be sent in a timely manner through USPS yet charged me for the option.

Our checkout page does have a thorough disclaimer that states USPS cannot be used for live fish and must be agreed to prior to checkout with our T/Cs. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!!! I can not stress that enough! How are they still in business? I ordered a fish from them. Paid the price for the fish plus the shipping. It kept saying they were waiting for payment even tho the money was taken out of my account. I wrote customer service because I couldn't get threw on the phone. They took 4 almost 5 hours to respond. They tried to say I needed to pay another 50 dollars for shipping for a 12 dollar fish. The customer service representative was extremely rude. They literally tried to charge me well over 80 dollars for a 12 dollar fish. They will scam you and try to take your money. Go some place else!!

I paid an outrageous price for shipping because that was the only way the would guarantee live arrival and didn’t get my order for 5 days and on top of that, I had to purchase an expensive box and shipping supplies. When I opened the box, there was one dead frog, one frog had a missing foot and the bag smelled very bad. I can only imagine what the habitat conditions are like. One $20 fish died the second day. I paid well over $150 for 3 tiny freshwater fish, 1 dead fish, 4 tiny frogs and 1 dead frog. Never again. I would not recommend this place. They don’t care and they don’t take care of their fish!

Karen, our prices are reasonable and shipping costs are standard for sending livestock within the aquatics industry. We guarantee live arrival and as a company who's passion and love is in the fish keeping hobby, we're a bit taken back by your comments and offended by this. Your order was delayed due to something out of our control (FedEx delivers our packages; we wish we had unlimited resources to deliver to each and every customer nationwide in a private jet as that would guarantee live arrival each and every time). Weather, mechanical issues, etc are outside of our control and though we'd wish we can be God as well, we cannot control uncontrollable factors. You're welcome to visit our shops anytime and you will see the happy conditions they are in (ask any of our local customers and they can tell you as well). If you get in touch with our team, they're more than happy to make things right for you as customer service is our priority and happy fish arriving to you = happy you = happy US. =)

My first couple purchases were great. The packages arrived quickly and all this fish were healthy but my last two purchases were terrible. I contacted pet zone sd to ask about my order status after noticing it said "awaiting payment". They informed me that I would need to upgrade to overnight shipping because it was the most humane way. Which I understood but was not willing to pay more for shipping than the cost of the fish. I politely messaged them back about two weeks ago asking for a refund and still have not recieved a reply. In between all of this, I made another purchase that says it has shipped but the tracking number says it's been in pre-shipment for over a week

Hi, We apologize to cancel your order due to safety reasons. For the safety of our animals, it cannot be shipped using USPS, which normally takes up to 3-5 business days. With the long transit time, it would be unsafe for your aquatic friend to undergo such a long journey. In this respect, we have decided to cancel the order. We have gone ahead and refunded your order. Sorry for the disruption this may have caused to you. The refund should show up in 5-10 business days. If you wish to get those livestock, please place a new order and select “FedEx Overnight” for shipping. Dylan, overnight doesn't mean it's overnight from the day it's ordered. It is overnight from the day it is sent out. For example, if you ordered on a Friday but we didn't ship it until Tuesday of the following week but you received it Wednesday, you still got your delivery in time. Please make note. If there was a delay with your order due to mechanical/weather/etc by FedEx, please let us know and we can file a claim on your behalf. Cheers!
