I shop the store at Pepper Square in Dallas, TX. I have always enjoyed my visit, and very seldom don't find what i need for Winston, my cat. The pick up service is awesome, as I'm always in a hurry. Bryan the rude manager wouldn't apply my $10 coupon from Pet Supplies Plus. He said I didn't spend enough money. I asked him where it said that the coupon was only good for a certain amount, he couldn't. I was purchasing one of their most expensive dog foods. Still he refused to honor it. I hope corporate shows Bryan where the door is. He argued with me in front of the store over $10!!!!

A few weeks ago I went there to get some fish for my 20 by 30 fish tank so I bought then I went home and activated the fish then the next morning my fish died

The store I go to is okay. Employees are nice. The problem I have I guess it's with corporate which is where the points reward program (you buy 10 bags you'll get one free) comes from. I have been buying food for years (I signed on 2021; do you know how many bags of food I have bought!) and was wondering when I was going to get a free bag of food. Well they explain me I had to sign up which I thought I did. Went to website and it showed like 2200 points lost because I never claimed (you cannot claim what you don't know you have). At the store nobody knows anything about this program enough to explain it. Anyways now that I am aware that you have to know the points you have right after I bought the next bag of food I took a peek to see if the points are there. They showed as redeemed! It's really frustrating that the points are not linked with the franchises so they don't keep track. I just think they (corporate) have no intention of honoring the points. What a shame!

I prefer Pet Supplies Plus over many of their "big box" competitors. I find that the franchise owner at my location is often in-store, that the staff is more knowledgeable, and that they generally care more about animals. I've also had a much better experience with their white label brands than those of other suppliers.
