I'm concerned that my customer service agent missed the mark here. We do have a money-back guarantee, so I'm not sure why that wasn't mentioned during your interaction. However, our money-back guarantee is limited to one opened bottle within 90 days. **Why only one opened bottle?** We believe one bottle gives customers a fair opportunity to determine two things: 1. Whether their dog will actually eat the chews, which is often the biggest hurdle. 2. Whether they're seeing enough improvement over 30–90 days to justify continuing with the product. We understand that some dogs may take longer than 30 days to show noticeable improvements. However, we also have to protect the business from potential abuse. For example, without limitations, someone could purchase several bottles, use the product for months, and then request a full refund despite having received the intended benefits. **Why 90 days?** Simply because smaller dogs require fewer chews per day, meaning it can take up to 90 days to finish a single bottle. We wanted our policy to accommodate those customers as well. **Why do we require customers to return the bottles?** It's certainly not to make the process difficult. It's simply another measure to protect PetScy from fraudulent refund requests. Requiring a small amount of effort helps discourage individuals who might otherwise attempt to take advantage of the policy. Now, with all that said, I want to be clear that we're a legitimate business that stands behind its products. More importantly, when we make a mistake, we try to make it right. In your case, I believe our customer service agent should have explained the money-back guarantee and the options available to you. **Here's what I'd like to offer you:** I'll make an exception and refund you for two opened bottles, rather than the one allowed under our policy. I also won't require you to return either bottle. Additionally, if you have any unopened bottles, you're welcome to return those for a refund as well. I hope this demonstrates that we're not trying to avoid honoring our commitments.
