PetLinkReviews of petlink.net

I got a call yesterday afternoon. Thinking it was a spam call I was reluctant to answer. When I did, Petlinck was on the line with the people who found my dog. He jumped the fence when my tree guy left after looking at a tree in my yard. Within 10 to 15 minutes, someone found Zebo and took him to a vet where they discovered he was chipped. They lived close by. I got him back in minutes. Very greatful for Petlink. I never thought that chip would help me find my dog. I was wrong. Very thankful for Petlink and their response.

Cat was lost and found through petlink. Service worked well.

I can't imagine how yesterday would have gone without Petlink microchipping -- and I don't even want to think about it. Our sweet little girl slipped out behind me when I went out on the front porch briefly and because I didn't realize she was outside (she is a very quiet little girl) I can in an closed the door behind me and went back to work. We live in town and have a fenced in courtyard so she has never been off-leash "on the streets" -- she didn't run, but simply wandered. A neighbor saw her in her driveway and went out and called her to her. Then, since she didn't have a collar on (she never goes beyond our house/yard and we have three dogs who love to play and wrestle and we don't want them to get caught in each other's collars - we had that happen before abandoning collars in the house) our neighbor took her right to the local humane society. They scanned her PetLink chip and called me immediately. I was shocked that she was gone. As I said, she is very peaceful and quiet in the house. And I rushed right over to collect her -- crying with gratitude all the way. Thank you Petlink.

On family vacation our senior Boston Terrier “explored” a bit too far and got lost from the house. He is deaf and basically blind so we were a tad panicked to say the least. Totally forgetting we had him microchipped we received a call (only an hour and half later) from the local area’s vet that Butch had been found. I honestly thought the microchipping was a waste when we first had it done but now am beyond grateful. Everyone in the family will be getting chipped this week! 😉

Customer service just directed me to the website instead of handling the situation for starters. Went to the website to transfer the animals that was abandoned by my x-roommate. I’ve been taken care of them for over a year in a half & it asks for medical records but they were all up to date on vaccines and everything before she abandon them. They never had any health issues of any sorts cause I take care of them and their indoor animals. Unfortunately the website asks for proof of ownership, they’re living under my roof & being taken care of by me. Apparently have to jump threw hoops to get ownership. Just going to drop out in the wild then.

Horrible customer service. Horrible customer protection. Horrible pet protection. They practically facilitated the theft of my pet. Someone besides me initiated a transfer of ownership… when they called to verify with me I denied it! But they did it anyway.

The PetLink microchip failed and I contacted them. They said for me to have my Vet contact them and they would send them a new. My Vet tried several times to get ahold of them and finally did. I asked Petlink to send me a replacement metal tag for my dog's collar and they sent me the same one with the failed microchip number. After several back and forth with PetLink (2 weeks) they blamed me and wanted me to start over and reorder the new replacement tag. I told them to go to Hell, refund my money and I ordered one off of Amazon for $10 and it came in 3 days later. I will never do business with Petlink again and I have told all of my friends to stay away from them. And to Petlink do not contact me or even respond to this feedback. I could care less what you have to say. You even lied on your response back to me on this review. I copied and paste the last communication from you and here it is. "Please submit a new tag order with microchip number 981020051234332 if you wish to receive one. We have no order history from you with that microchip number, and we can not generate a new order on customer's behalf. Both your original order and the replacement order is with microchip number 981020037512803." I never submitted another replacement order but NOW you are sending the tag with the new chip number like you were suppose to in the first place. When I get it I am going to cut it up and throw it away.

In November 2022, my dachshund dog (LOLA) was left in the care of my ex-husband's niece while his mother went out of town. The niece, that Lola was left with, told us that the dog had died in her care. She would not give us the body of the dog or any pictures. We did not believe her but what could we do? In January 2023, I get a call from a lady that says that she has my dog. I was in shock and I questioned her, because to my knowledge Lola was dead. She described and I was able to confirm that it was Lola. She said an old man found her on the side of the road and turn her over to her shelter. Lola lived in Waller with my ex-mother-in-law and she ended up 70 miles away from home in Sheridan, TX. This girl is 13 years old and she survived the cold winter days of December. If I would have not had her chipped she would have never made it home. I'm so thankful for the man that found her and the lady from Lucies Pet Project.
