My dog copper was stolen from me on 8/31. Taken from my car. I was heartbroken. Police don't seem too concerned about pets. Copper is like my kid. I was lost. I immediately started posting his pics and story on social media. I reached out to pet link notifying them that copper was missing and I needed to update my information. It had been 6 days since he was dognapped from me. I was so sad. I felt bad for copper having to go through that. I continuously flooded social media, vet's, animal control offices, animal hospitals, with my story and coppers picture. Telling everyone he was micro chipped. I even posted on social media to please return him. Everyday I'd post his pictures and story. I set up with pet FBI and a couple other places that help with lost pets. I hoped that by putting more and more of coppers pictures and his story maybe the thrives would get scared. I let em know every time that copper was microchippef. That any vet, animal shelter, animal control etc., Will know that copper was stolen. I was so distraught. Copoer is like my child. My special little guy. 2 days after I emailed pet link, I received a E mail telling me to call them. I immediately called and was told copper had been found by a lady and was safe. I was so happy. The person who found my copper had him scanned and the micro chip led them to pet link. I am very grateful for the return of my best friend. I owe so much to all the social media sites, the animal groups who posted my story, and pet link, which was the icing on the cake. I hoped that if I put coppers pictures out enough, kept telling everyone he was chipped that just maybe the pet thrives would realize that copper was loved, missed, and going to be risky to try to sell or keep. I don't know what happened. We do know he was stolen. I do know he was missing 6 days. I do know I was miserable. His micro chip led him home. Pet link and the customer support, with the compassion they showed me and helped navigate me through updating his/my information. The person I talked on the phone with was actually sad and upset when I told her coppers story. I am just relieved it's over. Coppers home. To all the help, thank you.

I never had an animal chipped before. But it certainly came in handy this time when Penelope got out. Within a few minutes of posting her being missing somebody caught her and had contacted Animal Control. They in turn scan the chip and were able to get a hold of me through various means and I was reunited with Penelope.

I have a 20 month old husky (Bailey) who will get lose in a heart beat. That was the case when I decided to take him for a ride. Stopped to pick up mail. He's always in the back of my SUV. Not today! He was just waiting for me to open the drivers door. Jumped right out! Fortunately I received an email from Petlink the next morning that he was captured and placed in our local vet. Picked him up that evening. The email was sent to my spam folder. Fortunately I check it every morning. My only suggestion would be to send a text also.

I have had Petlink for one of my dogs for over 8 years (lifetime) and no issues. I rescued another dog and was given the first year free from the rescue. Yesterday I paid to upgrade for the lifetime membership at $19.95 and saw there was a promotion on my account to upgrade to a lifetime membership for $24.95 with several "gifts" for doing so. There was even an "upgrade button"to click on. When I contacted customer service they told me this is just a survey and not really what was described. I asked to be refunded for the $19.95 since it was misleading and not to renew this dog's membership. They deleted my account TOTALLY for both dogs. The dog I had a lifetime membership for over 8 years is totally gone and I am not recognized in their system at all. So the dog I did not renew is not in the data base nor the one that I paid a lifetime membership for. (so basically they took my money and lifetime membership away and not sure how they can do that) Customer service has yet to rectify this which is so disappointing. I was actually hung up on today while trying to reach someone in management. It has been a time consuming and frustrating experience to say the least and lacking in customer support. I will update this review when and if I hear back from Petlink.

It was difficult to find this site! when I put in petlink.net a site came up wanting me to pay. I called the 800 number and they directed me to the correct site and there was NO CHARGE. After spending about 45 minutes trying to complete this website I got it done with help from PetLink. It should be more user-friendly.

I received what appeared to be an "Urgent" notice from Petlink stating that I needed to pay my one tme registration fee of approximately $20. After I payed the fee and the payment was shown to have been processed by my bank, I still get a demand message to pay their fee. Whenever I login now I continue to receive the same demand message that there is a problem with my account and I need to pay their $20 fee.

My dog, Jemma is not quite two years old but she has mastered digging out of backyard fence. She was a rescue, and after much reading I have determined that she is a whippet which means she can run very fast. She has gotten out of her fence several times, and luckily I have had people helping to find her, one neighbor recognized her because we walk by his house every day, I live close to a busy street and I’m always concerned that she will be hit by a car because when she runs she pays no attention to the traffic. Even though I was in the backyard with her yesterday I looked away for just a minute and she was across the road when I looked up. I called her and told her to come and she just ran. got into my car which I have done many times looking for her and was about ready to give up when I got a text from Petlink saying my dog had been found. I called and was told they would put me in touch with the lady who found her which they did. I talked with her and she gave me her address so I was quickly able to go pick Jemma up. I put a thank you notice in Facebook and reminded people how important it is to join a PetLink and for people to check a dogs collar to see if there is a PetLink number to call. I feel so very fortunate to have found her safe and sound.
