Microchips inserted into pets do not have GPS capabilities so the best that can be done is for you to report the last known location of your pet and we will help to spread the word throughout the community and scanning facilities. Maybe you are referencing an external device that you obtained from another company? GPS does require a power source so you would need to invest in an external product for your pet for GPS functionality.

Our microchips are not GPS trackers, they are internal identifiers. You might be thinking of a different product. Microchips identify a pet's owner when a pet is found and scanned.

The lost pet alerting service is included in your lifetime registration and will never cost you any additional fees. It has been our experience that people find pets and often try to locate their owners prior to taking them somewhere to be scanned so we are happy to report that the majority of contacts we receive are for reuniting pets with their families within a few hours of going missing since we are able to notify so many people in the immediate area so quickly. Most alerts are for a much smaller radius than 25 miles b/c there is such a concentrated base of pet owners. We will opt you out per your request. We thank you for your review and we are currently undergoing a website redesign so your feedback is much appreciated.

I am sorry to hear that you don't like our website. I'll be sure to share your feedback with our developers. We don't return calls late at night when it could be disruptive, which may be why you were called the next day. We hope you never need to test our lost pet services, but if you do lose your pet , we will be here to help.

We do offer a lifetime registration. If you choose that, our charge for your dog's registration is one time. and there are never any other fees to keep up on. If you'd like to switch to this from the annual package you bought, give us a call at 866-699-3463 and one of our call center reps will be happy to help.
