I have yet to report or lose a dog to know if it truly is reliable. how can we test it if it is working?

Hopefully you never need us, but if you do, Petkey will be here to issue and alert and offer our service for a lost pet, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year!

I had no idea I had to do another registration online when I had my dog chipped. Nothing like paying for Something twice.

We are sorry to hear that your Vet did not explain that there is a fee for them to microchip your dog, and a separate fee to register the microchip for pet alert services. Your dog is now registered at Petkey for lifetime services, so you won't pay any fees again for his registration and alert services. Thank you for being a member of the Petkey family!

I'm still not sure I'm signed up for the right thing. My dog is a bit of a runner and I'd hate to lose her because I didn't sign up right.

Your pet is signed up for a lifetime registration with Petkey. Should she ever get lost, when her microchip is scanned, Petkey will be called, and we will get in touch with you to let you know where she is. You do no ever need to renew anything, your pet is registered for a lifetime! Please just keep you info updated should you move, or change phone numbers. We thank you for being a member of Petkey!

My niece owned the dog we have first and when she tried to change the information about the dog, he was never registered in your system. I think that she spent quite a bit of time getting it straightened out. It is ok now.

The way the offer was presented lead you to believe that the chips cost was $10.00. Would have been better to say and activation fees apply. The service is still good and worth the money but coupons and ads were misleading.
