We recently rescued a dog from a severely abusive situation, which made him very skittish. After having him for only a week he got spooked while outside and ran away. Right after losing him, we contacted PetKey and had an alert put on his chip, showing he was missing. It took 10 days to find him and get him home. It was very nice knowing that if scanned, they would know where he belonged and help get him home. I can't wait for the technology to be there to GPS track lost animals. That is the only reason I give 4 stars. We have had great contact and support from PetKey and look forward to many more years of them having our back and keeping our dear dog safe.

I'm happy I did it, knowing that if I lose my dog, I can find him and get him back.

PetKey is easy and reasonably priced. Only gave 5 stars because I wish they had a tracking device which you could track a dog when he is lost. Maybe using a phone apt. With todays technology I am sure this is possible.

This service is easy to access and use. I know why there is a fee, but I felt like I HAD to buy the lifetime because my pet is young. I would have felt better if it cost less and everyone paid the same.

I was able to register my cat's microchip number easily, however, I feel that $45 is alittle expensive to add a microchip number into a database, especially since my cat is an indoor cat. But I'm glad it's available in case she ever gets outdoors

Registering was easy. I thought the registration cost was a bit much but I also worth it if I ever need it. I only say that because I didn't have to pay to register my other rescue.

It was a good experience overall. The only problem I had was that I had 2 cats to register and I had trouble, it kept looking like I was paying twice for 1 cat. I couldn’t see where there was a separate transaction for each car. But I figured it out. After I paid to register I then got an e-mail to purchase a life program. It would have been easier to do it as 1 transaction.
