All’s well.
I haven’t “tested” this system other than to have the vet verify chip info was changed from previous “hooman’s” name to mine, as my girl was a rescue. Process to change registration was fairly simple. However, more education to the rescuing agency would be nice. My girl was both chipped and spayed by her previous owner, prior to my obtaining the privilege of becoming her “furever” home. I was told I would be able to change the chip’s info at no cost. Nope, not true. What it cost me was worth the peace of mind so...I am peaceful. Just be aware, no matter what a rescue group claims regarding changing/updating a chip, it is NOT free.
