I will reach out to you directly to see if we can help you out with this but unfortunately we have not control over if the chip was implanted correctly. The veterinarian who implants the chip is responsible for ensuring it properly scans after implantation.

We definitely don't want you to be disappointed. We include the wooden tag in the lifetime package but we will send you a metal one right away.
