I bought one of these fancy items, after a few weeks, you notice that you are not using it. Here, I detail why:
It was throwing treats everywhere and my dog never could feel connected with the device, rather than that, he was scared of it. The quality of the voice was not also good as in so far as my dog did not care or react at all about hearing my voice through it when I was out. It ended up being a camera in the house, and well for a camera in the house the money we pay is much more than what we should. The rest of functions become useless. This is my experience, and may not suit everyone. Their customer service was good, and responsive, but my review is not for their customer service, which was again, excellent and prompt, but rather than that it is for the product they sell.

Hi Mehdi,
We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the Petcube product. We understand that the treat dispensing and voice quality weren't satisfactory, and that your dog was scared of it. That's definitely not what we intend.
We're committed to trying to address your concerns and improve our products based on customer feedback.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Sincerely,

Exactly what I wanted.
Set up of this collar was a breeze! I love that you don't need wifi to set it up unlike most tracking collars.
The only issue I have had is it says my dog goes to the same area every day on our walk. Which shows her going about 2 blocks away. However she does not go there. But I have checked the mileage and my route to my phone and the mileage is the same as my phone. It's weird. Now that I know that. I just ignore it. Other than that the tracker is extremely accurate. Even the sound option is great! It helps recall her when off leash so I'm not raising my voice to get her attention!
The reason I got this collar is due to owning a high energy, far ranging vizsla. I wanted to check how many miles she was running off leash compared to my walk in our fields.

Hi,
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on the Petcube Tracker! We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience.
We're thrilled to hear that you found the setup so easy! Furthermore, we designed it that way to make it as convenient as possible for pet owners. And we're especially glad you're enjoying the sound option for recalling your Vizsla - that's a great use for it!
We also appreciate your honesty about the GPS accuracy. It's helpful to know that you've noticed the consistent "2 blocks away" issue on your walks. While you've found a workaround by comparing mileage, we understand that this isn't ideal. We are continuously working to improve the accuracy of our GPS tracking, and your feedback helps us prioritize those improvements.
It's fantastic to hear that the tracker is otherwise accurate and useful for your high-energy Vizsla! That's exactly why we created it – to give owners peace of mind and insights into their pet's activity.
Thanks again for sharing your detailed thoughts. We value your feedback!
Sincerely,
Petcube Team

The Petcube = Peace of Mind…
The Petcube minicam enables me to easily supervise my foster kittens and my pet cats from afar. It's not expensive to buy and free to use. I've gone from owning just one to having 5. I highly recommend them.

My camera got hacked
It was Great until it wasn’t! My camera got hacked! It was 3am in the morning and my camera made a noise and then it started to rotate which you could tell someone was on it I then went and checked the location of signed in devices and it had one from 4 weeks ago from Sydney ( I don’t live in Sydney) and then right then it had someone from Coffs Harbour I felt sick to my stomach and instantly deleted everything I could off the app and then then deleted my account I’m horrified and absolutely devastated this has happen

Hi Nicole,
We understand your concerns regarding the camera's behavior and the distressing experience you described.
Regarding the periodic reboots of your Cam360, this is a normal operation. The camera is designed to reboot itself approximately every 24 hours, plus a random additional period of up to 60 minutes, to maintain system stability and optimize performance. Sometimes, after a reboot or unexpected shutdown, the camera may perform a brief recalibration, which could involve some movement. This is a standard procedure and not usually a cause for concern.
Regarding the location information shown in the app, it's important to understand how IP addresses and internet routing work. An ISP (internet service provider) often has a large private network between your home and the broader internet. The IP address shown in the app typically points to the geographic location where your connection reaches the internet backbone, not necessarily your exact location.
If you have a static IP address from your ISP, this location will generally remain consistent. However, if your ISP assigns you a dynamic IP address, they may route your connection through different backbone connection points to manage network traffic. This means you might be assigned different IP addresses, each associated with a different backbone connection point. As a result, you could see varying locations in the Petcube app as your internet service provider reroutes your connection. This variation in reported location does not necessarily indicate unauthorized access.
We strongly recommend contacting our support team directly at [email protected], so we can investigate your specific situation in more detail. We will do our best to assist you in securing your camera and account.
Furthermore, we understand this experience has been unsettling, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Your feedback is invaluable as we continuously strive to improve our products and services.
Sincerely,
Petcube Team

Deliberately Miss leading To Trick You Into Purchasing Their Products
Their FAQ contains deliberately miss leading responses to questions to make you think that certain additional features are being developed and will be added. I have contacted customer services on multiple times to see when features will be implemented based on promises in the FAQ and they have told me they have no intention of adding them. I have asked if they will updated their FAQ and they say yes thank you for the feedback. 6 months later after multiple follow ups they haven't changed anything.
Edit based on response: This is exactly my point, the feature I am referring to is web browser interface. In your FAQ you state "Having web access is something that is on our radar though and we are making some small steps in that direction" however in your response below you state "This means that the features you've inquired about are not currently scheduled for implementation." You clearly don't care if your FAQ is presenting correct information or are not reviewing it as you have said.
Response from PetcubeFeb 22, 2025
Hi Jon,
We understand your frustration regarding the features mentioned in our FAQ and their current availability.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are constantly evaluating and prioritizing our development roadmap based on a variety of factors, including customer feedback, market trends, and technical feasibility. While we appreciate the suggestions for the features you mentioned, we have other development priorities at this time. This means that the features you've inquired about are not currently scheduled for implementation.
We are reviewing our FAQ to ensure it accurately reflects the current status of our product features. Your feedback is valuable to us in this process. While we cannot provide a specific timeline for any future development of these features, we will certainly take your input into consideration as we plan future updates.
Thank you for your understanding.
All the best,

Have been using Petcube since 2020! Love it!
I've been using Petcube to watch my dog at home since 2020, now have two devices. There are always issues with video or with connection (at least once per month), but in general we are happy with the product!

Bit concern
The camera works very well, and I am happy for that. However, since a few weeks ago we notice that while we were in the house, particularly in the living room where we currently have the camera app, my husband and I started to feel uncomfortable when we would occasionally hear the sound. The same sound when I use the app to check my dog. It gives us the impression that someone somewhere else is watching.
