Hi LLK, thank you so much for your review! We're so glad to hear your Smart Topper cools as advertised, and I can relate - my first night I overdid it on the cooling too, lol! I learned to use a warmer (or "less cold") setting pretty quickly. We hear you on the app, and are actively working on improvements which will be available to all existing (and future) customers at no additional cost. :) We'll send an email blast when those updates are available. For the odor, we apologize for this! We have a procedure for "pre-airing" the Certipur memory foam, but sometimes a faint odor can still be present. There are a couple of tricks that can help, though! Leaving the topper uncovered for a day at -10, -10, -10 cooling is one way. Paradoxically, another can be leaving it at +10 Start heating, +10 Sleep heating, and then -10 Wake cooling for a day. The idea here is to warm all the inner materials up, then at the end push out any lingering odor. We've given both these tips to customers and have heard they result in improvement, but haven't done a perfect side-by-side comparison to see which method is best. Neither will hurt! Hi T, thank you so much for your feedback, and we're thrilled to hear your Smart Topper keeps you cool on those hot summer nights. 🤍 For the sliding around, your topper should have come with corner straps which you can pull tight to keep your topper in place. If those aren't enough, we can provide extra straps, or sometimes some non-slip pads for mattresses from Amazon work in a pinch. Another trick is to put a coarse cotton fitted sheet over your mattress but *under* your Smart Topper - this extra friction can also prevent that sliding you're experiencing. (The usual culprits are VPNS, "guest network" configuration, Apple's "private relay" feature, or lack of dual band frequency with 2.4ghz connectivity options - but we have a trick even to bypass this) You can reach the team at [email protected]. Hi Suzanne! "Lifesaver" — we'll take it! So glad you and your husband are both sleeping better, and that the dual controls and easy setup have made such a difference. Two people, two temperatures, one happy bed. And you're not alone on the remote wish—we hear that a lot. Same with the control volume. Those are things we're keeping in mind as we keep improving. In the meantime, the physical buttons on the topper are there for quick middle-of-the-night tweaks (once you get used to where they are!). Thanks for the kind words and the honest feedback. "Lifesaver" is quickly becoming our favorite word around here. 😄 The wet-bed detail hit home—that's exactly the kind of misery we built this to fix, and we're so glad it hasn't happened once since the topper arrived. And hearing that it doesn't wake you, even as a light sleeper, is a big compliment. You're right that the fan steps up a bit at cooler settings, but we're glad it stays in "not noisy" territory. Love that it hasn't changed the feel of your mattress, and that the auto-adjust is doing its thing through the night. That's the whole point—set it and forget it.
