It is not helpful at all. I can't use it. I have to usea walker and hoped this would help me get up easier. It doesn't. It made it very difficult to get to he walker and takes room there's no way to navigate to the walker or in the room.. total waste of money I don't have. No I would like to return it and get a refund.

The chair is very nice and seems sturdy. I struggled a bit with the assembly because there were a couple of screws that wouldn't easily go all the way down in the holes. Eventually I prevailed. I am planning to donate this shower chair to a nursing home. Unfortunately, it is too wide to fit in either my bathtub or the tiny downstairs shower. If you have a large walk-in shower, it would most likely work. It's my own fault for not realizing that a chair that can hold 450 lbs will be WIDE. The person who needs it only weighs 145, so we're buying a standard size shower chair. Her hip replacement is in two days, so we are running to the local medical supply store. Again, my own fault for not assembling this chair sooner. ** I would like to add that the bathtub I tried to place the chair in is a Jacuzzi jetted tub with a contoured inner section. The chair will probably fit in a standard tub without jets. Sorry for any confusion!

We truly value your thoughtful feedback and commend your patience with the assembly — great job sticking with it! Donating the chair is such a generous and kind gesture, and we completely understand that the sizing didn’t suit your space. Wishing your loved one a smooth and speedy recovery!

It made it easier for my mom to use. She has dementia so sometimes things are harder for her than the effort anybody else.
