KNOW BEFORE YOU PAY
I wanted to share an update with everyone about my experience with Peak because I'm genuinely disappointed with how things have unfolded. I joined the three-day event excited to transition into multifamily investing, learn from experienced operators, and become part of a community built on mentorship, transparency, and relationships. Here are my concerns. First, the enrollment process. I was upfront about my financial circumstances and the fact that I was going through a divorce. Despite that, I felt pressured to make a significant financial commitment on the spot and was encouraged to obtain a new credit card to cover the cost. Looking back, I wish I'd been given more time to review the agreement and fully understand my options. Second, the lack of follow-through. When I reached out to my strategist with questions about the program, he offered to clarify things and asked for my email. I expected a follow-up conversation, but that never materialized. Instead, the next communications focused on collecting my outstanding balance and potentially restricting my access. I eventually had to contact customer support myself. Third, the confusing package pricing.I paid $6,000 toward the $15,997 Premium program. When I requested a downgrade, I was initially told the Basic package was $7,497 and that I would need to pay another $1,497. After further correspondence, customer support clarified that a separate Path Only package costs $5,000. That's a significant difference, and it took considerable effort to get a clear explanation. Fourth, the financial resolution. Peak is willing to move me into Path Only but will retain the additional $1,000 I've already paid, attributing it to Premium Services. I also haven't received explicit written confirmation that my remaining $9,997 Premium balance will be canceled. Meanwhile, I understand that some classmates purchased lower-tier education at the event for considerably less than the prices subsequently quoted to me, although I recognize the packages may differ. Finally, the 14-day cancellation policy. I understand that I signed an agreement, and I take responsibility for that. But given the financial commitment and how quickly enrollment took place, I question whether participants were given sufficient opportunity to evaluate what they were purchasing. What troubles me most is the disconnect between the mentorship, personal guidance, and supportive community emphasized during the event and the experience I've had trying to resolve these concerns. I'm not sharing this to discourage anyone or diminish the value of the education. I've been working through the material, I've registered for Fast Track, and I genuinely want to continue learning. I've decided not to pursue further back-and-forth at this point. I'll continue using the access I have and focus on building my multifamily business. I believe that when we're making investments of this size, transparency, consistent communication, and genuine support should matter as much after enrollment as they do during the sales presentation. I hope everyone else's experience has been more positive. I value the connections we've made and wanted to share mine openly.
