Paycom is great for overall employee experience. Because their products are all built in house by Paycom and connected to each other, we have eliminated the need for multiple profiles and logins for employees. The ability to move their information effortlessly throughout the system has also helped keep our data accurate as it eliminates manual entry.

After my experience of implementing and using Paycom, it is by far THE SOFTWARE that I compare all others to. They have set the bar for me in both product functionality and customer service/support. They are dedicated to continuously improve and grow in the industry. They stay current on new laws and regulations affecting payroll processing and human resources management and work to provide a positive and easy experience for employees to access their information through a mobile app or website. Paycom is committed to a stellar level of security, excellent and prompt customer support, and progressive improvements/upgrades.

I would not recommend Paycom to any business. They are dishonest and bait and switch agreement items in order to try to upcharge clients. We had the general ledger concierge included in our agreement and we are 7 payrolls into the live environment with Paycom and they have yet to supply a correct interface that we don't have to manipulate. Now they are telling us that we need further custom work and we need to sign an agreement that includes more fees and they refuse to do this with an agreement that states $0 cost, even though this service was included in the original agreement. Our set up was a disaster and we have yet to have a payroll cycle without set up corrections needed for items that have been discussed over and over. It sometimes takes weeks for them to answer simple questions for us. We regret moving to Paycom. Don't do it. Paycom is unreliable and not a good business partner.

Paycom is a great company and goes out of the way to provide an excellent experience to clients.

My interactions with Paycom have come both serving them as a client while also utilizing their payroll software in our workplace. From the software side, I have never had any issues and love the simplicity it gives both the employees and employers. What I appreciate the most though is the quality of people we interact with when doing business with their team. It's obvious their staff is passionate, skilled and cares about their customers and their employees.

Having used Paycom for over 5 years with two employers, I rate the product as a 4, but customer support would be a 2. I don't know why but over the past 12-16 months it has gone seriously downhill.

My company transitioned payroll to Paycom last year. When my 1099 contractors didn’t get their end of year paperwork I tried to login to the client portal to find I was locked out. Days latter I was informed my company account was closed out due to “not enough payroll”. There was no warning, no explanation, and no refund of money and time spent to transfer. I reached out via phone and email numerous times and have not received a response. The level of customer service is beyond reprehensible. I will also be filing complaints with the better business bureau and any other organization I can to get the word out. It’s hard to believe Paycom is still in business. I highly recommend going with another more reputable company who values its clients. If I could give less than 1 star I would!

This company is basically fraud based. Do NOT do business with them. They take your money and when you decide it's not a good fit. They will not refund you your initial payment like they said they would.
