PaycomReviews of paycom.com

I really truly enjoy using Paycom. It makes my life easier, the reporting makes me look really good, even if I keep telling people how easy it is, and the user interface feel professional.

I've implemented Paycom 3 times and I love it. I've used other systems (ADP and Paylocity) and neither can remotely compare to how great Paycom is! My team and I have decided when we make our next move to another company, if they don't have Paycom, they aren't a fit for us!

They were hands down the worst payroll provider we've ever used. Frequent mistakes were made, customer service was terrible, and necessary compliance reports were not filed.

We recently signed up with Paycom and I have loved everything about it so far. Our onboarding went super smooth and they were able to help me modify a couple of things to help with our company needs.

As a manager Paycom has made everything simple for my employees. The app is user friendly. They can submit their vacation requests and I can easily approve/deny. Pay check stub info and W2 is easily accessible and paperless. Company documents are signed electronically and stored in one section. I have all levels of employees and everyone can easily use Paycom. I answer less questions and I don't have issues arise that takes my focus away from my job. We implemented Paycom years ago and it works without issues. Using cheaper software is not without headaches. I would recommend Paycom.

We're a fast growing company that needs to be nimble in every aspect of the business to scale with demand. Leveraging Paycom's app, we're able to onboard new hires easier and quicker to get them pushed into the fire fight and delivering solutions for our customers. Paycom as a great product with fantastic support.

We recently used Paycom Learning to create, administer, and manage a department-wide training for employees. The easy-to-use interface and comprehensive functionality allowed us to customize the content to our preferences. Additionally, employees were able to easily navigate the course due to their familiarity with the Paycom ESS platform, as they use it regularly to manage other HR-related tasks.

We've had Paycom for 3 years. Not a single rep we've ever worked with has had HR or payroll experience so they have no context for any of our questions or issues. You have to explain to the customer service rep how their own system works in order for them to understand the problem you're having. We've also had 6 different customer service reps in 3 years - they keep quitting. I don't blame them, they aren't given any of the knowledge or tools to actually be helpful. And don't expect to actually be able to get through to your rep when you call, you'll get someone else who knows even less. When you do get your rep, they always have to "get back to you" about your question but they rarely do. The most common answer or solution is "oh, the system can't do that but we'll put in a suggestion for it with our development team". Still waiting on most of those developments. Their big selling point is that it saves time - the trick is they mean it saves the employees time, not the Payroll people, not the HR people, not the IT people. For all of these people, processing time has doubled and some things are literally impossible to do in the system, things that are standard in any other system. Everything is designed to charge you more money and everything is overpriced. We're currently being forced into an update to their payroll module that will also cost more money. It's not an optional upgrade and it's not an upgrade we want or need, but we will be forced into it anyway. If after hearing all of this you still want to go with them, find someone who already knows how Paycom works to help you set things up during implementation (the rep they assign will be clueless) and just say no to their applicant tracking system - it's garbage.
