Puppy Mills?
PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ABOUT THE BREEDER! We decided to buy a puppy from Pawrade.com and picked a small dog that apparently came from a breeder in Indiana who "loves dogs" and breeds them as a hobby. It turns out that he "forgot to stamp" the vaccination card. He sent pictures of our puppy's parents in the snow when we bought the dog during summer. When asked for new pictures neither the breeder, nor Pawrade.com would help. The puppy came with fleas, parasites and of course, we had to get all the vaccines that the breeder "forgot" to stamp in the vaccine records. IMPORTANT: I tried to ask Pawrade about how the vet breeders and I was told that they run background checks on breeders. That is definitely not enough. They don't care about this. The "Pledge" to not work with puppy mills is just words, there don't even scratch the surface when vetting breeders. We are convinced that our puppy came from a puppy mill in Indiana. A state that has a problem with puppy mills, just like Ohio. Most dogs from this website come from those two states.

Hi Hugo, It is actually standard industry practice for responsible breeders under close and approved instruction from their Veterinarian be afforded the ability to administer vaccinations with regards to USDA compliance. A puppy's immune system is not yet fully developed which is why all pups are required to be on a dewormer. Microscopic parasites are in every single environment, we apologize your puppy contracted a parasite. Please make sure you file a Health Claim so you may be reimbursed for the necessary medicine. With regards to fleas, this is certainly not normal and will absolutely do a thorough review of your pup's transport. We apologize if your Breeder forgot to stamp the vaccination record and will certainly do what we can to prevent this from happening in the future. We certainly ensure a Puppy First Approach and absolutely only work with Breeders for whom we trust. We have reputable breeders that live across the United States.
