Everyone was very kind and helpful. My only issue was there wasn't alot of screening about the home the puppy was going to.

Hi Leah! Thank you so much for being a wonderful customer to work with. We are very happy to hear that you found our Pawrade associates to be kind and helpful. Everyone here truly are dog lovers and delivering happy, healthy pups to their new furever homes is our mission.
We do in fact have our own vetting that takes place behind the scenes. We noticed you are a Vet Tech (p.s. we are hiring for a Vet Tech position right now), you live in an Apartment with a Golden Retriever, have no kids but wanted another pup to love. Being in the Veterinarian field we felt comfortable placing LuLu with you :).
We communicate with potential buyers quite a bit through email, our message center, and telephone calls. Our associates are thoroughly trained in many areas to provide great customer service. One of the things we try to establish is that the buyer and the pup are a good fit. Starting with our sales staff, they listen closely and do their best to make sure that the pup being considered really fits the needs and desires of the customer. And while our associates are always polite, respectful and tactful they are also paying close attention and if there is anything that presents itself as a potential issue involving the safety, health, and happiness of the puppy we at Pawrade will and have taken appropriate action.
Though we can't meet folks in person or visit their homes we do pay close attention and make every effort possible to ensure every pup goes to a wonderful furever home. This is just one aspect of our puppy first approach. We understand your concern and appreciate that there are so many wonderful folks such as yourself out there looking out for our furry friends.
Please give LuLu kisses 😘😘 from all of us at Pawrade.

Overall we are very pleased
Overall we are very pleased, we got a healthy, happy, and loving puppy. The only reason I didn't leave a five star is because i had four different contacts not including petpay and the delivery people. They want you to do so many things to verify and make sure you're a good home(which is great) but it was very confusing and finding everything that we needed to do ie: vet check, insurance, transfer of ownership i was checking multiple chat sessions, emails, text messages. If they could organize everything a little better and give you one contact it would have been a much less stressful week. But again we are super happy with our puppy and would use them again.

Hey Jarrod,
We are so happy to hear that you are happy with your new best friend! And we also greatly appreciate your feedback.
Facilitating the adoption and delivery of a live animal is an extremely complicated task. There really are a lot of "moving parts". We have folks specially trained to handle all the various stages of the process as each stage has its own unique challenges. It would be impossible for a single person to handle the process from start to finish. We are however currently working on ways to streamline the process for the customer because we know that sometimes it can be somewhat challenging.
We take a puppy first approach with the safety, health and happiness of the puppy being of utmost importance and this can be somewhat complex at times. We hope to have the process simplified a bit in the near future and hope you see the improvements when you get your next pup from us!

Everything went just as they said it…
Everything went just as they said it would. The representative, the concierge, the breeder and the transport folks were all fantastic! I highly recommend Pawrade!

Overall positive, but transportation communication could be better.
The Pawrade experience of purchasing a puppy was easy and there was lots of communication about any questions we had. The only complaint was about the transportation. There was some miscommunication about when Milo would be picked up and delivered which made us a bit nervous, but it was eventually cleared up and we received Milo right at our doorstep. We took him to the vet within the 72 hours required and was given a clean bill of health besides a small amount of stress colitis from travel, which is to be expected. Milo is sweet, smart and an adorable example of the mini dachshund breed. If Pawrade improved their transportation service communication they would definitely get 5 stars.

Hey Katherine.
We are so happy to hear that you received Milo, your new furever friend and he is doing well. We also appreciate your feedback as it gives us an opportunity to make improvements.
The adoption and delivery of a pup can be a very daunting task. And the travel process frequently is the most challenging and complex. We have a very short list of Transport partners that we trust who are experienced, caring and professional. Unfortunately, sometimes even the best run into delays and complications that are unavoidable.
There are just so many instances and so many variables of things beyond our control that can happen on the road or during the prep for the trip. Our Travel department staff works tirelessly to try to keep the many moving parts running smoothly but despite their Herculean efforts there is occasionally a bump or two. I have relayed your concerns to the Travel Department manager so that she can review your situation and address any issues to improve this in the future.
Thank you again for your feedback. It is always appreciated and is a valuable tool for us to make improvements and improve the overall experience for our customers.

Couldn’t be happier
I had done research for 2 years before actually getting my dream dog a Frenchie. In May of 2021 I found Pawrade I read the reviews, went on trustpilot & there were definitely more positive reviews than negative. And I really read every single bad review- honestly most of the bad reviews were in 3 categories:
—-people not reading their agreements properly
—frustrated with the breeders not being available to talk with
—-or a sick puppy after travel.
I choose to read everything carefully their policies /I also prepared myself for somewhat poor communication from the breeder, I looked at it like the breeder hired Pawrade to list their puppy & deal with the buyer -Pawrade has most information and if they don’t they will get it for you, I also did my research and a tiny puppy who is put through a lot of stress especially from first time leaving it’s mom, getting on a flight or traveling long distance is gonna have a weakened immune system & to be just be ready to give this puppy TLC n proper vet care/ DOGS ARE EXPENSIVE/ I have a mixed small 4yr old dog who I’ve spent 15k on n would do it all again, you don’t just buy a dog n then you’re done spending money it’s an expensive to keep a happy healthy dog full breed or mixed.
So I went ahead and asked about Bambi (formally Marribell) a six week old French bulldog I believe she was around 4k with PetOnly AKC registration- if I was going to buy a dog for that much I wanted full rights- Pawrade asked the breeder if she would be willing and for I believe an extra 1k I could have full rights. So that’s what I did I bought Bambi communication was amazing my breeder actually was awesome and would write me back though the messaging system & I did have a lot of questions and I could see how that would be a lot on breeder if she’s got let’s say 6 people asking 5 questions a day- it felt like it took forever to get Bambi, I chose to fly across the country and pick her up myself, the breeder met me at my hotel she checked my ID she sat and talked to me for a good 1/2 hour. She brought her shot records/AKC registration/ treats/ and a few toys. I got Bambi home, she did have a parasite - but again I was expecting it. I think my biggest fear was parvo I read a couple cases where the dog got it from ground transportation/ or during the flight, but that’s why I choose to fly out there and get her myself.
6 months later on a whim I went back to their site and instantly fell in love with Gamora (formally Addie) this time Gamora was already 13 weeks and was ready to travel within a day I paid and were already making transportation arrangements. Beth is great, this time I didn’t have contact with the breeder but I was mentally prepared for that. They changed things in that 6 months though for the better, they now do long distance transportation (which if you’re a snub nosed owner you know flying is scary for our dogs) and they now have a free trial of pet insurance for unexpected illness and injuries a 500$ deductible after you pay a 50$ co-pay which is super nice. Transportation got here at 6:15am - he handed me a folder n the puppy took my picture n left I lt was dark and cold I didn’t have time to look her over, I went in the house and she was beautiful. She did have a cold running nose, and eyes and a cough. I then noticed blood in her poop- I got her into the vet, I was scared of her having parvo (yet because she was older she’s had almost all her vaccinations and all 3 parvo shots) my vet tested the fecal and didn’t find any parasites, then wanted to test for parvo because of the blood, fever, and cough - the test was negative- she just had a bad stress induced cold- with a little extra TLC and antibiotics she’s doing great, she’s eating and happy.
I have nothing bad to say about this company their communication is great, we just need to do our homework, study and be prepared. Knowing that getting a dog is expensive & time consuming from their food, to kennels, to training, multiple vet visits each year, prevention care, it doesn’t stop after we buy the dog it’s a lifetime commitment. Pawrade sends multiple emails about how bad travel stress is on these young pups and how important it it’s they get in for a wellness check right away, in my experience both times the puppy always came first. I have recommended them to many people while some people can’t believe how expensive their dogs are, I don’t mind paying a pretty penny for a dog that is bred in a family environment, that didn’t come from a puppy mill, a puppy who’s parents are first a pet, and then a working dog.
Both times around, I got shot records, AKC paperwork the day I received the puppy

Bait and switch? Pawrade you have a breeder problem.
This is actually a two part review, one that hopefully Pawrade will act on. I found a Pug puppy on the Pawrade website. I read the many wonderful reviews and as I did not want a puppy mill puppy, I valued their 'no puppy mill pledge.' I spoke to a person locally who had previously gotten their puppy from Pawrade and were pleased with their puppy and the service. I did my homework, or so I thought. I chose a female Pug named Jass who was pictured in a residential home and was listed as being born on 10/8/ 21 and would be ready to go to her new home on 12/31. Everything went smoothly until the day of delivery. A mix up with the pet nanny resulted in the breeder having to reschedule the flight for later in the day. We were okay with that. The pet nanny had a time crunch to get back on his return flight. We had a 5 minute hand off: was given the AKC paper work, handed the health form, took a fast picture as required by Pawrade and the nanny was on his way back to his gate to return home. Our puppy is adorable, but not the 3 month old pug pictured in the listing. On the way home, we noticed some sneezing and a runny nose from our new pup. The next day (Sunday) she was coughing. We took her to our vet on Monday and he suspected kennel cough. She also had Giardia. We noticed that her health form stated that her birth date was 10/30/21 making her barely 8 weeks and only 4 lbs. Full disclosure- our vet believes that she is currently 6-7 weeks old. Dr. Stone immediately put her on antibiotics and by Wednesday she was back in the office with Pneumonia. She was so ill that we thought we might lose her. Blood work, x rays, stronger antibiotics, twice daily trips back to the vet for nebulizer treatments, we now currently owe the vet more than $2,100.00 on top of the price of the pup and the flight expenses. The Metlife insurance that comes with the puppy and which we extended, is not going to cover this. We have been pug owners for 30 years. This experience is a sad first for us. Pawrade, you have a breeder problem.
Response from PawradeJan 25, 2022
Hey Marcia,
We are really sorry that there was some confusion with your new pup. It seems that the breeder made a mistake in listing the pup's birthdate. The correct birthdate is in fact 10-30-21, not 10-8-21 as listed. As you mentioned the "Ready" date is listed as 12-31-2021. That would be 8 weeks after the correct birthdate of 10-30-2021 which is the age required to be able to legally let a pup go to its new home. I see your pup was delivered on 1-11-2022 which would make her 10 weeks and 3 days at the time of delivery. Thats actually ideal for a small pugnose breed. Again, we are very sorry for the confusion but Jass is absolutely the same pup pictured that you purchased and that you received. We are so happy that you find her adorable! She certainly is that and some more!
We are also sad to hear that Jass has had some health issues. Unfortunately upper respiratory issues this time of year can be a real concern for dogs and humans alike. It seems you were very attentative and handled it extremely well and Jass has made a full recovery. The Giardia is also very common in puppies and one of the issues that we go over with all our buyers in writing and by phone to be aware of and to watch for. Our breeders do their best to avoid Giardia but sometimes the stress of travel can give this germ the little window it needs to get a foothold. Please be sure to submit all of your vet documents to initiate a claim under your Health Guarantee.
We sincerely apologize for the issues you have encountered. Please dont hesitate to reach out to us if there is anything else we can help you with. We strive for all of our buyers and pups to be completely happy with their experience with Pawrade.

This is my true experience with pawrade
We been looking for so long for a golden retriever and we promised our daughter we will get her her dream puppy, we found pawrade and chose a beautiful 11 weeks female puppy called April, I was told I will get a zoom call to meet our puppy and her breeder which changed to a 28 seconds Video of the puppy With her tail between her legs as she is not sure of her surroundings, i noticed that right away but just gave it the best thoughts and believed what I was told about her breeder SS as she is one of their best golden retriever breeders.... we reserved April almost 2 weeks later and the ladies who dropped her told us they saw dead warms in her poop and that she just got dewormed.first thing we noticed is she gets down tail between her legs and pees herself I honestly thought that’s submissive urination as some dogs would do that, however it turned out to be I’m dealing with a very unhappy traumatized scared puppy, if my kids come to pet her she would wet herself, if you walk towards her, if a door was shut, if she hears our neighbors in their backyard, she will just run hide wet herself. The only thing I can do is to tell her she is ok give her a huge and try to make her feel secured, never walk directly towards her.
I started doing 2 and half to 3 hours training throughout the day to just make her enjoy life and gain confidence but she is too overwhelmed and scared to focus or interact in a positive way. I reached out twice and left a message to her breeder to ask about April’s AKC registration certificate which I never received and get some information about her first 3 months of life with absolutely no reply back!! I reached out to pawrade and been told they called her breeder left a VM for her with no reply. Everything that is going on is so wrong.
We paid 3845$ for April + 699 for shipping, this is the highest price on your website For golden retrievers we did it because we trusted you guys and we thought we were paying for what we r getting.
When I communicate my puppy’s behavior issues to you guys your reply should not be tips on how to potty train a puppy, this is something totally different.
Failing to reach out ur breeder but instead you would call another customer who had a littermat of April and to tell me they r having no issues with that puppy other than potty training is another failure and not true or helpful to me. If you would look through the reviews on Dec 30 you would find another woman who had a worst experience than us with the same breeder and one of April’s littermate
You guys telling me my only option is to surrender the puppy pay to ship her back to her breeder is soo wrong on so many levels it’s like a punishment to me and April, how can I ever pay to send her back to someone who doesn’t care like that.
I’m so disappointed and disgusted by the whole experience.
Update: pawrade requested I remove the breeder’s name which is written on another bad review on Dec 24 updated on Dec 30.
That’s ur only concern??? I have nothing to say but ( bathetic)
Please Pawrade hold up the standers, try to look at why these experiences r happening and prevent them from happening again.
cut the BS short please, you have breeders problems.
did anyone get a hold of what is called a breeder and got back to me with any helpful information or the AKC certificate? NOOOO
did you watch the video that was sent by her own breeder when my puppy was in her own environment that shows clearly what im dealing with here? Probably not because you r busy typing some nonsense about stress and adjustment.
is scrambling across and sending some tips on the internet to use a ring for potty training time helpful? not at all
did your sells man need to lie and tell me this is one of our best golden Retriever (only) breeders ?NO obviously this woman's name (who dropped out of earth) is written on another bad review for selling also sick beagle puppies .
now which part of you feels its right to frecking keep telling me send the puppy back to someone who is hiding behind a screen making money of sick and traumatized puppies, who clearly doesn't care to provide honest information or honor the agreement and send the right documents .
Horrible experience I would give ZERO STAR if I could. if I would've gone for adaptation form a shelter I would've felt better and been prepared for what to expect.
Response from PawradeJan 25, 2022
Hello Ola,
We are very sorry to hear that your experience with April is not going as well as we all hope for. Some pups (a few) just do not transition well to their new environment, surroundings, unknowns... Being taken from your mother, littermates, and the only home you have ever known can be very stressful. Sadly it seems that April is one of the pups that is having a very hard time. Pups just like people have a wide range of personalities and it seems that April is somewhat more towards the shy and timid side. Though with your continued love. kindness, support and training she is almost certain to overcome this as she grows and her confidence builds.
I have also reviewed all of our communication with you regarding your concerns with April's behavior. There were several lengthy phone calls with our Puppy Concierge where they made many good suggestions as well as referring you to online resources where you can get very helpful advice from experienced trainers. To characterize the interactions as just "tips on how to potty train a puppy" just isn't a fair assessment. All of our employees, especially our Puppy Concierge staff are completely dedicated doing everything they can to ensure all of our puppies are happy, healthy and safe. That's our puppy first approach.
We understand that this has been stressful for you and that you have asked if you can return or re-home the pup. If you feel that giving up April is the solution for you then returning her to the breeder is what's required in your contract as well as what's best for the puppy. If April is struggling with her transition then sending her to another home to start over would not be what's best for her. Returning her to her original home would allow the breeder to address any confidence issues as well as give her some time to mature.
We will continue to do our best in supporting you and April through this transition. We understand that sometimes certain pups require more time and attention than others. If you would reach out to us again we can help in finding some more specific materials to help you in addressing April's confidence. Our ultimate goal is for you and your new furever friend to be happy for many years to come.
