Casey purchased the pup several weeks before the pup was 8 weeks old. A pup must be at least 8 weeks old to legally be sold. As soon as the pup reached the 8 week mark it was taken for a head to toe health exam. After the successful exam the pup was scheduled for travel. The pup was picked up by the transporter just a few days later and was delivered, happy and healthy the very next day. There were no travel delays, the pup was delivered in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the USDA and through our years of experience to ensure the pups well being and safety. The transporter did mistakenly ask Casy for payment. This was an honest clerical mistake by the transporter. Once Casey reached out to us we resolved the issue immediately. Our transporters also take great care of the pups. There are two crew members in each vehicle so that one can pay constant attention to the pups. The are fed, watered, and have their crates cleaned regularly. We have no Idea why Casey would think we would not feed and water a pup during its journey. It is true that the breeder accidentally listed the pup as an F1BB and the pup was in fact an F1B. The breeder also listed the pup as "dewclaws removed" when in fact their vet only removed the rear dewclaws as they felt removing the fronts was not necessary. For these 2 minor issues the Caseybelieves she should get a full refund, in effect, receive the pup for free. That is not fair and reasonable. We issued Casey a generous refund that more than covers the typical difference in cost of the 2 types of pups as well as the cost of removing the front dewclaws in the unlikely event it becomes necessary. We make every effort to address any shortcomings that may occur with our buyers. We have done that here with very fair financial compensation.
