Brand new customer here - had a late night weekend sudden emergency with one of our dogs - did the FaceTime with the PAWP Vet and got approved to take our dog to the emergency vet. It was so nice knowing that bloodwork and IV medication was going to be covered. It let me focus on my dog and not stressing about the cost. He was diagnosed with HGE - hemorrhagic gastroenteritis - he is fully recovered now. The $500 bill was covered and I can’t tell you how pleased I am with the service. I will continue to be a member as long as I have pets.
Thanks PAWP!

My Rottie went for an hike an injured her leg. She seemed in pain but it was a Holiday so everywhere was closed so I needed to get an experts opinion fast . After I explained everything she went through a series of questions. She had me do a few things to see how my Rot would respond. After we went through what she said she assured me that it wasn't an emergency but our Rot would need to be seen within the week to make sure she didn't need x-rays or meds. It let me sleep easier knowing that our precious Rottie was going to ok.

This was my first time connecting with…
This was my first time connecting with a Pawp vet online, Haley T, she was very prompt in coming on line, very patient & very professional. She understood my love & concern regarding my baby. She asked the right questions to get a good understanding. I'm very very pleased with Pawp. I'm so glad we are apart of the Pawp family.

Caveat Emptor - expect techs, not vets.
Service is fine, unless you expect a veterinarian be available at any point. I can tell you that when I used the telehealth service in Sept of 2021, a person answered the "chat" and never identified themselves with anything other than a name, but it turns out they were a tech, not a vet. I was looking for a second opinion for a medical condition, which this service IS identified as providing, and the person gave a second opinion, but as a tech, all without identifying as such. They have now changed the "names" to identify a title so you know its not a vet, but apparently you won't find a vet online - this is important as if you tell the system you have an emergency, a tech is deciding whether or not it's an emergency and whether or not you get your funds. Keep that in mind, especially if you're expecting them to be there. I understand a tech can tell me if I have a dog with a broken leg that it's an emergency, but does the tech know the difference in cluster seizures vs multiple seizures in the same day? One is an emergency, the other isn't.
The companies justification is that I don't know what the service was meant to provide, but I can read the fact they provide second opinions all over their website, and whether or not you realize it, providing a medical opinion, when not licensed to do so is a crime - because these are animals, they apparently feel its acceptable.
Also, before there's some "confusion" on what the service provides, here's some excerpts directly from their website - does this say you'll get a vet tech anywhere?? Yep, this is on their site, and was part of the reason I signed up. When I got a vet tech today, and asked for a vet, I was told they have gone for the day.
Pawp is proud to be able to offer 24/7 access to licensed vets. No problem is too minor for a call at any time of night.
You can chat with a trained veterinarian that will know how to help your animal no matter what time it is.
Pawp connects you with unlimited telehealth visits with licensed, trusted veterinarians.
The vets that you will find at Pawp are all highly trained professionals. Pawp vets are small animal veterinarians that have excelled greatly in their respective fields. Every vet you interact with at Pawp has at least five years of experience practicing, but most of them have over 10 years.

Hi there- thank you so much for this thorough feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review. I deeply apologize for any misunderstanding when it comes to your membership and what our service provides with our vet professional team. We take this to heart and will be looking into what might have happened right away to be sure it matches up with what we offer. Our team consists of a mix if DVM's and Licensed vet techs and we want to make sure our brand matches this accordingly. While some conversations are fielded by our vet techs, they are overseen by and guided by one of our staff vets and if ever it is imperative that a member speak to a vet, that we will do our best to get them to one as fast as possible. Someone on the team will be reaching out shortly to go over your experience further. Thank you again for your feedback!

A must-have for every pet parent
Pawp has been a lifesaver for me. There's nothing worse than seeing your dog feeling under the weather and not knowing what to do or how to help them. Having unlimited 24/7 access to vets has saved me lots of trips (and money) to the vet clinics, but most importantly, it has given me peace of mind.

First day I got it and got immediate help from a "certified vet" about my sneezing cat. I was pleased with the answers and care she gave me for and about her.
