I have planned 3 trips with passports…
I have planned 3 trips with passports so far. Always a positive experience. Never had any issues. They were especially helpful during the covid pandemic when we had to move our trip 3 times.

How do I put into words how great of a job my 2 tours were this summer (back to back). As usual, Passports did a bang up job! Just amazing. Keep doing what you do! You all are the best at building these tours! Love it! Trips 8 and 9 with you all are now done. Off to go rest!

Passports Travel Company went above and beyond to provide an excellent culturally enriching and fun experience for my students and chaperones. They were also extremely accommodating and understanding with covid and vaccine challenges, offering full refunds to people who changed their minds about getting vaccinated even though they had signed a promise to do so as was required by the countries to which we were traveling. After a two year delay, our trip exceeded all expectations. One student said to me at the close of each day: "Ms. Lobosco, this is the best day ever!" I couldn't agree with her more.

This was my fourth tour with Passports. We were five days before departure in 2020 when COVID ramped up in Spain and we had to cancel. We were the very first group that had to change because of COVID. At that time no one knew what was going to happen. With a discussion with Dave and Dale, they decided to offer us a full group postponement at no charge, even though there had been no COVID government money yet. It was only beginning at that time. We had to postpone again in 2021 and we finally travelled in June 2022. It was so much work on the part of the whole Passports team, especially Dale, because I think we had each other on speed dial by then. As usual, our hotels were fabulous, centrally located, safe, clean and comfortable and sometimes a little bit luxurious too. We always customize our trips and tours and we were able to do everything that we wanted to do. Our tour director, Victoria, has been with us for two trips and she is part of our family. We appreciate and love her so much. Unfortunately while we were traveling, we had a death in the family of my Co-leader and Passports immediately scheduled him to go home and were very supportive. They treat customers like family and show us how much they care. We will always be loyal to this family run company and are booked for 2023 for Italy for Round Five!

Waterways and Mountaintops is awesome! Passports is by far the best company to work with. This was my fourth tour with this company. All of the staff is helpful, informed, and really care about your group. Our three hotels were great: centrally located, large breakfasts, nice rooms, and friendly staff. The itinerary we chose was a nice mix of smaller towns and the big city. Bruges was magical. And the chocolate workshop was unforgettable. We did add a day in Paris to give more time to experience the city. Switzerland was also a different vibe with interesting things to see. Cheese fondue dinner! Our tour director, Alison, was so personable; she got to know all of our travelers. Working with Dale Davies, Paul Lynch, and Michael Ford was fun. We even spent time with president David Markle not once, but a few times, in Paris. What other company shows that much concern for their travelers? Every request I made and question I had was answered. We added a few extra visits and details along the way, and Passports was able to make them happen. Our tour was truly an experience of a lifetime. I would never travel with a different company. Thank you, everyone at Passports, for another great trip.

I have been traveling with Passports for decades both as a participant and as a group leader. Top level service here, they are a very knowledgeable and professional company who will help you with every aspect of the process and ensure your participants have a fantastic trip.

We went to Italy: Rome, Florence, Siena, and Venice/Lido. Students had an amazing time! The planning of Kris Weinard and Dale Davies was spectacular and they helped me with everything along the way. This is truly the only company I would go with, it is family owned and operated and they have the personal touch. Even when I as the Group Leader tested positive with Covid in the middle of the trip, Passports did EVERYTHING possible to help me and my participants carry on. In fact, the president of the company himself (David Markle) dealt with me directly every day to make sure I was taken care of as well as my group. I truly give Passports an A+ for their trip. They truly delivered a positive experience for my students. I have only gotten positive feedback from parents and students, so the proof is in the pudding. Here's an example: We were going to have an excursion to Siena from Florence and I voiced my disappointment that we were not going to stay in Siena as long as I had wished, well, no problem! Our Tour Guide Matteo contacted Passports and "voila"! Just like that, their time spent there was extended for an addition couple hours as they made arrangements with the bus company they were using! Passports is FLEXIBLE. They will work with you on any point and they truly wish for you to have a great experience. They know about making the customer happy as the first rule of a business model. If I organize another tour, this is the ONLY company I will go with. -Andrew Hoskins, Half Moon Bay, CA

Passports did an awesome job planning our trip! Michael and Dale were super helpful and answered all of my questions promptly as we were preparing for the tour. Our tour director Sara was amazing. She went out of her way to personalize our experience and gave us so much interesting information about the places we visited. By the second or third day of the trip, I think she knew the names and many of the interests of all 24 people in our group. At one of our stops, she had gone shopping early that morning so that we could have a picnic in the woods by a beautiful creek, and sample all kinds of fun foods. She even gave us the option to change our schedule so that rather than stopping in Liechtenstein (which did not have much to offer for our group), at her suggestion we got to go on an amazing Alpine Coaster ride instead! This was SO FUN, it was a highlight for everyone on the trip, and thank you Sara for suggesting it! Also hats off to Sara our Tour Guide, AND Dale at the corporate office for staying up all hours one night to help us take care of a member of our group who had a medical emergency. I have to say, one of the best parts of the trip was the hotels we stayed at. We were literally located in the heart of the old town squares in most of the cities we visited, so that if we wanted to, we could still go for a walk and explore Rothenburg after settling in our hotels after dinner, or wake up for an early morning jog through the town square in Innsbruck before the masses of tour buses arrive. It was like a dream staying in hotels literally right in the heart of the town squares in the villages we visited! I will never forget everyone's eyes got huge, and saying, "We're staying HERE?!" as we checked into our hotel at Innsbruck. To be honest, hotel reviews were one of the main reasons we chose Passports Student Travel...and I will say that they did not disappoint in that area at all! The only hotel that was a little farther out was Heidelberg, and it was still walkable if you wanted some exercise. I was also impressed with the restaurants we went to. The food was good, even if (I'm sure for simplicity and price control purposes) we were all served the same thing. But, if anyone didn't want what was served they could order and pay for something else from the menu any time. The views and atmosphere of the the places we went were awesome, especially the Biergärten we ate at in München, and the restaurant right on the lake in Lucerne. The fondue and Swiss Folklore Night at the Stadtkeller was seriously a home run. I expected it to be kind of cheesy and sort of a "canned" cultural experience for Passports to check off a box, but was completely blown away at how fun and what legitimately great entertainment it was. The team of musicians and entertainers were funny, and super good at connecting with and involving the audience! Even though the show was quite long, people still did not want it to end. Many of my group members said it was one of the best parts of the trip for them. Another personal touch was when David the director of Passports even met up with our group for dinner one night during the tour to see how things were going. I have been on trips with other student travel companies, and had thought that they were "fine." I figured that crappy hotels and food were necessary to keep prices low for students. However, now that I have seen what Passports can do with roughly the same amount of money, I feel it must really come down to caring. I feel like corporate greed has not yet set in with this company, and they still care about what they do. All in all, a wonderful experience, I highly recommend. Thank you Passports for a great trip!
