I had high hopes for the Pass Program Step 2 CK On Demand Course after having a great experience with the Step 1 On Demand Course, but unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. 1. Practice Questions Are Awful – The questions are poorly worded and nothing like actual USMLE-style questions. Instead of helping me reinforce concepts, they just frustrated me. 2. Low-Quality Notes – The course notes are riddled with errors and not helpful at all. They don’t add much value and feel poorly organized. 3.Lectures Are Not Engaging or Effective – The lectures feel like I’m just watching a classroom session instead of being taught. The instructor reads straight from the slides and provides minimal extra insight, making it feel like a passive experience rather than an active learning tool. 4.Lack of Depth & Explanation – There’s very little emphasis on clinical reasoning or high-yield Step 2 material. It doesn’t break down Step 2 concepts in a way that’s helpful for applying knowledge to vignettes. I purchased this course because the Step 1 version was great, but I deeply regret buying the Step 2 version. If you’re looking for a structured, high-yield course that mirrors the USMLE format, this is NOT it. Save your money and go with a better resource.

This is not a classic course for the USMLE steps; it is way better. It has helped me to remember why I love medicine so much and understand the basic concepts before even trying to memorize all the books.

PASS has been a huge boon for me, having spent months doing nothing but memorizing flashcards and drilling questions. If you are like me and struggle with reasoning your way to the right answer, this program can quickly identify holes in your learning. I was able to pass Step 1 because Dr. Francis taught me the basics I missed even when I had memorized much higher order information, and with that I was able to reason my way to better answers while taking my exam.

Excellent structure to the program and concisely taught

After nearly giving up on the USMLE preparation due to stagnant NBME scores and limited review courses in India, I discovered the PASS Program through an online search. Dr. Francis's teaching style is transformative, providing both a deep and thorough understanding of the material as well as excellent retention through his active learning techniques. This program offers a fresh perspective on medicine and includes invaluable insights from Dr. Francis's personal experiences, together with practical advice for residency and real-world practice. His morning question sessions are unmatched and taught me how to approach questions effectively. These sessions facilitate constant material review. On test day, Dr. Francis's strategies and his "click and move" approach helped me stay organised and complete the exam well ahead of time. The best program I have used!!!

I love it! Dr Francis has thought me how to think and connect medicine. What seemed overwhelming has now proven to be more enjoyable and less complicated. Life changing program I will be bqck for step 2

Dr Francis truly knows how to rework your thinking for tackling questions. This program has the best way of integrating information and refreshing content. It was taught better than all my medical school classes combined. He got me through STEP 1 and I’m confident this will help me do amazingly well on STEP 2.
