i ordered a part and paid with my credit card. 5 days later they cancelled my order. i called and they said the company they get it from sold out. my question is what kind of people start a company to play middle man like this. answer - same people who run shoddy businesses that cant see through agreements. very disappointed. their mistake cost me time and money.

I read the reviews and looked closely at the order information and confirmation. The price for a Samsung modular ice maker for my GE Profile Refrigerator was $20+ cheaper than any other source and no shipping cost. I decided to take a chance and was pleased I now have a working ice maker in my frig. The shipping time was well within the time promised and reasonably packaged. I am 100% satisfied with my experience. I would take a chance with them again for the price savings.

I ordered an item Sunday morning at 8:06 a.m. that was not described as "refurbished" until I received the confirmation email. I sent a cancellation notice at 9:16 a.m. On Tuesday morning, two days later, I received a shipment notice and tracking information. The order had been processed Monday evening, so the cancellation notice of the used item was not processed. After several complaint emails to Partsimple, I did receive a refund for the item itself, but the shipping and handling fee was not returned.

Ordered an item almost a month ago that has yet to ship. The shipping date is now over a month after my purchase date. I would cancel the order, but that's against their policy, so I guess I'm just out of luck. Definitely would not consider using this company again.

Received control board when i expected it to arrive, and has been working good for a couple of weeks now. My refrigerator was not defrosting. Used a meter to check the connector sockets that hook up to P6 and P7 (pink and black wires) and had around 25 ohms (through bimetal temperature switch and heater element) when freezer was frosted. Had open resistance when freezer defrosted (bimetal temperature switch open). So the only thing left was the control board. Refrigerator did not perform a defrost cycle right away after changing the board but had defrosted by morning and everything on the refrigerator has been working great since. Thank you Partsimple for a part that works as good as a new one for a lot less!

Definitely do this repair yourself, and purchase the part here. We paid $75 for a service call, the markup on this part was over double thru the service company. Very easy install!
