I didn't read the bad reviews until after I placed my order with Partsimple, so I was somewhat panicked, fearing that I'd fallen for a scam. Much to my surprise, and relief, the part showed up about 48 hours after I ordered it. The packing was rather odd in that they sent me what appeared to have been somebody else's returned order. Partsimple just dropped the returned order into a bigger box and shipped it out; didn't even bother to remove the previous shipping label. Nevertheless it was the right part and it did in fact work. Other than the dread that I experienced after reading the horrible reviews, the transaction went fairly smoothly and I don't have any complaints. They delivered what I ordered and that was that.

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical, but here is my story. My fridge started acting up and I diagnosed the problem to be a faulty compressor start relay. Since is was still working most of the time, I ordered my part from Partsimple.com and opted for the cheapest ground shipping method. The very next day the part completely failed and I was without the fridge, so I called Partsimple and asked when would the order be shipped. By the end of the day I received an email saying that it would go out on UPS the next day. I think they did a great job in getting the part out although my shipping preference was for a slower pace. I will order from them again if the need arises.

My LG dishwasher is 11 years old and both the upper and lower racks stared rusting about 2 years ago. They deteriorated so badly I was worried about rust stains on my dishes and the racks were rather unsightly. I found the LG part numbers after some research on the web and then searched for sources. I found several but the total price for replacement racks was almost a third of the cost of a new mid-range dishwasher (about $340). The total price for the upper & lower racks from PartSimple including shipping was $218. I placed my order on their web site and received a confirmation email. About 4 days later the racks arrived at my house in good condition. The racks appeared to be LG OEM racks and appeared almost exactly the same as the original LG racks. I did note however that the new racks were definitely of a lighter construction and the layout of the lower rack was not the same, it lacked the adjustability of the original. However they both fit the dishwasher exactly and perfectly. Overall I'm satisfied with the price, shipping, and quality of the replacement parts I received through PartSimple. If I had read the ratings before I purchased these racks I would've used another internet seller but my experience with PartSimple was very good.
