As a fast-growing Start-Up Paro was one of the better choices we made. Our Bookkeeper and CPA are highly skilled individuals who have been supportive and critical to our growth at Yoga Ed.

I am very happy with Paro. Everything is running smoothly and he has really cleaned up our reporting. I feel great about it and it's been a lot less work for me.

Being a small business owner that has a growing company, taking care of our books and finances is so important. I have been doing everything myself for the past few years and am glad that I found Paro and our new bookkeeper Louis! The team at Paro matched us up quickly, and things have been great since then.

I hired Paro in January 2020 to do my Books. I sent them my Quickbooks files so we could come up with an estimate. We agreed on $4000 to Clean up my Books and $2350 Monthly.e After Several months of difficulties getting any kind of progress done, I realized that the Paro contractor was subcontracting her work to a team in India that had no idea what they were doing. The Contractor admitted that she was wrong and that she should have been involved more and Learned more about our Business. Her team she hired did everything wrong that we had to hire other people to fix their errors.

Over-promise and under-deliver. I was sold a comprehensive accounting package and received 50% of what I asked for. While the accounting services and skillsets were top-notch, I spent much of my time chasing the Paro employee to complete the tasks as outlined in the scope of work. Only after I voiced my concerns to Paro did I fully understand they're just a middle-man focused solely on collecting invoices, with no regard for client satisfaction or fulfilling their end of the contract.

Hi Ben, We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that you felt the Paro project under-delivered. We agree with you that even when talent and accounting skills are top-notch, communication and follow through are equally important elements of a successful engagement. It is always our goal to facilitate a positive experience for our clients by communicating constructive feedback to our experts when they have not met expectations, so thank you for sharing your insight.

Buyer beware! This is not a real accounting firm. It is simply an "accounting" startup that is only focused on sales/meeting quotas so they can get their next round of venture funds. They charge their clients a ridiculous fee for the services provided and simply hire the youngest, cheapest accountant/bookkeeper they can find and pay them less than 50% they are charging you per hour. Word is out that they have nothing of value to offer their clients which makes them go after small businesses promising everything and the moon. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a real CPA in person that you can trust. And if you have hired these guys for a project and it's starting to go poorly, fire them! It will only get worse.

Hi George, You are right in that we are not an accounting firm, but rather a marketplace that facilitates productive working relationships between businesses and remote freelancers who meet the businesses' finance and accounting needs. The freelancers go through significant vetting prior to joining our network, and business clients will have the opportunity to interview those experts before deciding if they would like to move forward with a project. Ultimately, Paro aims to provide a more flexible and bespoke alternative to a traditional CPA firm. In addition to both the quality and speed, we've found clients highly value the choice and flexibility offered as they get to define and potentially execute the project on terms that best suit their business. As part of our business model, each project has a dedicated Paro team member to help ensure the project kicks-off smoothly and continues to meet expectations over time, though ongoing communication for the project is expected to be managed directly between the client and freelancers. To the extent any client or freelancer has concerns or negative feedback, we request they reach out directly to our team so that we can help resolve.
