When it works its a helpful piece of mind, but the UI is borderline unusable, and reliability and troubleshooting issues are near constant. Would not reccomend this product.

I am beyond frustrated with Owlet. After nearly 3 years of relying on this monitor, it completely stopped connecting (Error OC 21) out of nowhere. No power outages, no network changes—it just quit. As a stay-at-home mother with two children under the age of two, this monitor is a necessity, not a luxury. I spent a week struggling without it, only to be met with a brick wall by their support team. I spoke with a 'Supervisor' named Brooke, who was utterly unhelpful. Instead of offering a real solution for hardware that clearly failed, she repeatedly told me to change my Wi-Fi settings (which haven't changed in years) and then abruptly ended the chat, stating she could not help me further. It is a shame that a company marketing itself on the 'well-being of children' shows such a complete lack of empathy or support for the parents actually using their products. I have never experienced a support team so unwilling to help a loyal customer. Save your money and buy from a company that actually stands by their hardware

Incredibly difficult to setup. My wife and I both work high end IT jobs and could not figure this out. The support is terrible. What a joke of a product. Riding the coattails of FDA approval. You know what else got FDA approval? OxyContin, the drug that caused the Opioid crisis. I'd rather be hooked on fentanyl than go through this setup process again.

My owlet sock base station quit connecting to WiFi after less than 10 months of use. Then owlet refused to honor their warranty of 1 year from the date of registration. They decided to go off my date of purchase. July 19th 2024. My child was born in January of 2025. The product quit working at the beginning of December of 2025. After providing owlet customer service with all the necessary proof showing that the product wasn’t working correctly they still denied a replacement. The sock and base were still working without WiFi, but after following the directions of the customer service rep to try to factory reset the device, it made the base quit working entirely. I provided proof to them of that as well. They again denied a replacement. I paid $200+ (thanks to it being on sale during Amazon prime days) only for it to quit working after 10 months of use. Also it did not fit my son until March of 2025 but I was still going off the date I got home from the hospital with him and registered the device. Which was in January. Overall I loved the sock, but it was very disappointing that they would not honor their warranty policy that is clearly stated on their website.

Camera randomly stops working. Support chat is useless. Was told that it would submit a ticket and then at the end of the chat it said it’s incapable of submitting a ticket. Don’t waste your time and money.

The dream sock and cam 2 does not work. I spend days trying to set the sock and camera up, following random reddit guides to resolve one issue after another. The sock worked once a few minutes. Next time i tried turning the cam and sock on, it would not connect to wifi

It's not medical device. My son come after tga vsd surgery his heart is doing good now . The sock super hard to set up . And sometimes it's show oxigen level 98 % but heart is 50 . His lips and color very good sleep peaceful. That is no possible for heart to be 50 and oxigen 98. So much stress for parents who go already so much stress and extreme. Don't spend your money on something that is not real reading.
